My mother owns that same set you are sharpening except they have black handles. They aren’t awful knives, but their marketing had my poor mother thinking they were “the best knives on the market”. 🫣

Right!!!! Great quality. The biggest selling point useto be that they would sharpen or replace your knives at your door. Now it’s ship them and be without for months on end. I’m surprised they haven’t tried hiring mobile sharpeners like me to come and warranty. 😂

@@Samsmobilesharpening That’s kind of the norm now. When I owned a few Miyabi knives they offered a sharpening service. I really wanna get another Spyderco Itamae from Murray Carter. I sharpen all my own knives now though. 😎

@@CobraKaiNoMercy right! A lot of companies are offering lifesharp. But one thing they don’t do is different finishes or changing things. So good for the majority of people that want to ship their knives. But the chefs and people that actually care realize there is a difference. 😊 as you already know from sharpening your knives.
