I bought a microtech ultratech a while back. It's solid, I just rarely carry it. Otf's just aren't my thing I guess.

👍🏼I like the look very much. I’m ok with the plastic but can’t do the price. Do you still have the SOS? Seems like the bm cut better but not $200 better. ? Gonna rewatch your sos vids. O and I’ve put your noose knot on a couple of my knives so thanks for bringing that knot to my attention. 👍🏼

Man the music in the intro of the videos reminds me of Fear Factory if you know them, great metal group.

I feel like that about my manix 2 LW , great knife plastic handles but its so good I almost 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have to say that I have become a fan of a slicey (thin blade) knife. I find that the most often use I have for a knife is to cut boxes. On the other hand, I have become far less of a fan to the OTF for regular carry. The problem with the OTF is that they are subject to fouling from even pocket lint and this means they need to be periodically cleaned. I also dislike roller bearing knives for the same reason, having come to prefer a thin blade axis lock design as my preferred carry knife.

@@doodysdaggers Yeah, I think I must open and break down 10 Amazon or packaging boxes a week and anymore, that is the only real use I have for a pocket knife. I did like the OTFs when I first got into knives but I came to realize that they were large for their blade size, and as mentioned, they seemed to need periodic cleaning. My Combat Troodon had a spring fail and it was lost during shipping for warranty work, and I never replaced it with another OTF.

Cutting good! Just make sure you don’t submerge it in oil 😄

It looks like yours joining the same club as me, the "i don't like benchmade..except ___" club lol. I dont care for their overpricing and their, what seems to be, arrogance towards the base....except the sheepsfoot griptilian. Idk if its the spydie hole deployment, the blade shape or ergonomics, but that is one of my go 2 edc work knives. And now that i sold the 940 and adamas, my only benchmade lol

I got one of these hunks of plastic and I'm not impressed. It feels like a $50 knife or a toy. The plastic is weak and in a real hard use environment this knife will not last. For the money, look at other options
