These videos are meant to be educational and funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
0:00 Intro - Click show more under the video to read more.
0:05 The customer installed spark plug was too long. "The customer really didn't want to spend. I gave him the option to tear it down and he declined further work. I did pull it apart. spark plug hole stripped head cracked. piece of head stuck between the exhaust valve. not good so far."
0:25 Not sure how the customer thought it was a good idea but here we are.
0:38 Also, I am not sure how somebody managed to put vegetable oil in the washer fluid reservoir as vegetable oil should be nowhere close to a vehicle's engine bay.
0:49 The catalytic converters were replaced.
1:00 An important reason why you should always read the owner's manual, especially if the vehicle is new to you with many new features.
1:13 These windshield wipers are fairly easy to install as well.
1:20 Maybe the customer thought it needed new rear shocks since the trailing arm was broken. Hopefully, the customer will get it replaced!
1:27 No extra info.
1:41 A good reason to keep your vehicles clean!
1:50 Looks like the customer had used this power cord for a while to keep the passenger rear door closed. The car needed a new door latch.
2:01 Probably the worst cabin air filter we have ever seen on the channel. The rats had also chewed a wiring harness that ended up getting replaced.
2:13 Failed inspection again.
2:28 Another important reason to read the owner's manual or have the salesperson go over the vehicle's features with you.
2:37 The two screws that hold the brake rotor in place are in the wrong spot so most likely whoever installed the brakes could not get the wheel on flush to the hub and broke the two-wheel studs.
2:55 No extra info.
3:03 No extra info.
3:10 Outro. Thanks for watching!

As a Mechanic of 35+yrs, I am so glad I can pull cars off the road. I mean, I have had people "threaten" to phone the cops, and I'm like "Here you go!" with my phone. And when cops arrive, asses the situation, they look at the customer and say, "You're lucky to have this guy as your Mechanic! He just saved your life! Now stop wasting our time!" Have a great day, Sir! I do hope you, Mrs Just Rolled In, and little Just Rolled Out are doing well! And God Bless. o7

I would think that would be one of those machines that are nearly a car wide, have enough lights to go deer jacking, and a covered half-canopy to keep the operator free od blown snow. I've had to jump start cars that stymied me and the owner... until I looked in and saw one of those 'bling rings' on the ignition switch. Had them pry it off and try again (without connecting my jumpers). Car cranked right up just fine. I've seen eyeglass screw stuck in the gap of an electric brake release that prevented releasing the brake. Prized it out with a pick and voila, no problems (lost the screw though, it went flying). And, of course, the 'phone in the gear shift well' that prevented the car going into park so they couldn't start it. Rather than removing the phone to answer my en-route confirmation call they just used bluetooth. I arrived, saw the car did not have an indicator for any gear I asked them to pick up the phone and shift it into N, then back to P. Started right up.

@@markh.6687 Yeah, I love the "Russian reversal" jokes. One not heard too often: "In Russia, you rob bank. In capitalist America, bank rob you." Yakov Smirnov popularized this in the US during the 80's and 90's. The joke form goes back at least to Bob Hope, and possibly to the middle or later 1930's, depending on which source you want to believe.

Snowblower guy. I saw on a computer tech site , a business had an old type of server that was made of individual hard drive like things. The business could add , remove or move them around as needed. A guy had one that wasn't working. So he pluged it into every slot. The ones that were in use, he pulled out the one that was in it and put his in. Took him about 1 hour to try every slot to get his unit to work. His unit had a bent pin which broke a pin in every slot when he put it in. Thousands of dollars and hours of labor in damages. He knew there was no chance he was doing anything wrong, it had to be the server .

Whether it is a small engine spark plug or an evap canister, 90%+ of the time you can easily find the OE part numbers and appropriate aftermarket replacements super easy. The golf ball behind the accelerator reminds me of the time a tin cup got stuck behind the brake pedal on a truck were I was the offsider. We didn't notice it until we started going down a very steep, very winding road. It is a very unique feeling when a fully laden truck is drifting around corners. We had to disassemble the break pedal to get it out.

It doesn't help that there are two different sizes of J Hooks. I hate having to swap out the connector piece on the blade assembly because the factory put the small one on by default.

@@tomgenitalia2537 "Pre-installed connector fits small (9x3) J-hook arms. For larger (9x4) J-hook arms, replace the pre-installed connector with the connector provided by snapping the middle arch onto the wiper frame's center post." That quote is taken directly from the packaging for the new wiper I had to get a couple of weeks ago (yes, I hadn't pitched the packaging yet, I don't clean out the back of my pickup nearly as frequently as I should) because the driver's side windshield wiper on my 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport had had the blade start tearing off dealing with ice. I admit, I forgot to replace my wipers last April, so I was kinda asking for it, but getting back to the point, BOTH of the windshield wiper arms on my pickup are the larger (9x4) J-hooks, NOT the smaller (9x3) J-hooks that most wiper manufacturer's pre-installed 'universal' connectors fit. It's a royal pain since I don't typically have a pair of pliers handy to help me get that 'universal' connector off to put the correct one on, so I'm usually doing that barehanded. As such, yes, there are two different sizes of J-hooks used for the front of a vehicle, though as a general rule both wiper arms on a single vehicle will be the same size, it's just that different makes/models don't all use the same size.
