Just wanted to give a little tip about Duke Nuno: the claims he has on lands within his realm actually aren't as useless as they seem. Having claims on your vassal's land allows you to revoke it from them without incurring tyranny. Nuno also has a baron-tier vassal below him who owns a castle that Nuno himself can hold, and revoking baronies doesn't incur tyranny either. By re-centralizing all these lands directly under Nuno as soon as you start the game, you can dramatically increase your power (as you're getting the full levies and taxes from the land rather than filtered through a vassal first), making defending yourself against the Muslims and reaching for independence that much easier. You're one of my favorite recently discovered CK3 content creators, and I'm excited to see what you produce in the future!

I messed up and deleted my saved file for Eadgar but I managed to get get him on the throne amongst all that chaos. Moreover, his descendants became Emperors of Britannia and Northern France, a couple became rulers in Jerusalem, one became a powerful duke in Croatia. Essentially, playing as the last Weesex is a very fun playthrough

I had a really great campaign with Nuno. I formed Portugal, was unable to unite the Spanish thrones due to Castile doing so, performed the reconquista and conquered the united Spain, participated in countless crusades and eventually gained the dynasty of many crowns, was somehow elected holy Roman emperor, then did my duty to destroy Greek pretenders and reestablishing the Roman Empire. Worth noting that It was during this campaign I realized how overpowered theocratic vassals are and had almost only King-Bishops with rigid borders under me as vassals.

Excellent video! One of my favorite starts is among the Taifa princes in Al-Andalus. It takes an incredible amount of balancing to manage the Game of Thrones when you are sandwiched between the southward intentions of the Jimenas and their Capetian allies and the Almoravid tribesmen who are on the edge of invading al-Andalus.

Just found your chanel bro. Been binge watching it the last couple of days. Your Serbian pronunciation is pretty good. You even say the "Lj" that most people just skip and say just the L letter. Duke Mihajlo is great, he even has a genius son named Gavril. Im pretty good with my Serbian history but couldnt find anything about him. I always suicide my first couple of sons to get Gavril as the heir. Even when playing as Tuscany getting him is pretty op

Aren’t Normans decendents of vikings led by Af Munso dynasty? If so, then isn’t that proof enough that the dynasty at least existed.

Normans are Norse Vikings tracing their lineage to Rollo. But he had nothing to do with the Munso dynasty. In the TV show they made him Ragnar’s brother, but that’s entirely fabricated. Rollo was real, Ragnar is still hotly debated.

The Uppland start must’ve really changed tinge this video. Prince Erik is an extremely powerful ruler in the game having about half of Sweden’s army. However as soon as you start the King of Sweden will try to remove your titles and you will have to go fight him over it. I did everything I could, create a powerful alliance, remarry to get another alliance and had an ally helping me in the fighting, even fixing my ramen at arms but it’s an uphill battle. Sweden allies with either Denmark, France or both so you’re pretty much rolling for a weaker Sweden a strong Erik and a good alliance. I haven’t gotten past the first war yet.

What do you think about Eadgifu the Fair? She was the most interesting start for me. In order to not lose the game you need to kill your male children who belong to Godwin dynasty and produce a male Swanneschal heir. But you only have 4 years to have that kid since Eadgifu is 41 years old. If you can't have a male heir but a female one, you have to kill even female children of the King Godwinson somehow. Also you need to make Norwegians win. If William wins it's game over if you didn't manage to conquer some lands outside Essex. Just fight against William with mercs and delay him as much as you can. If king Godwinson fights William before Hardrada it's done. Norwegians win and you are a vassal of Norway. You can even invite ex-king Godwinson to your court if he survives and have no land since he is your lover at the start of the game. She is also a historical character. I read some stuff about her.

I see no reason to buy CK3 until they release all the dlc’s that should had been in the base game. With all the mods and dlcs CK2 offers far more immersion, and that’s what the game is about
