The written directions were so good that I didn't have to refer to video until the second row: 2 stitches decreases on both sides, 5 chains bridge. In the direction it said only 1 st decrease on each side. Unless I am misunderstanding something it should say decrease 2 sts per side. The rest of the direction is almost in accord to the photos and the video: I have total of 9st. I then ch2, sk4 st, V st in the center, which is the 3rd st of the 5ch bridge. In the video it's ch3. Question: Is there a reason why you chained 3 one side but only chained 2 on the other side? I don't want to stretch my chain by redoing so I'm going to keep it at 3 chains on each side.

+Rebecca Wiley the no. on the hook isn't the size. The size of the hook is as I said in video. Tulip hook has the no. which is not really the size itself.

I found this a bit confusing. If you had just started the cup and gone onto the joining it would have made more sense to me. I would love to make this top but don't think I could follow this video the way you have it currently. I do like your videos but this one left me confused.
