  From this video the cups look like being made of double crochet. I watched the video you recommended to crochet the cups - there you use half double crochet. I haven’t read the pattern yet since I was following your videos. Am I supposed to start all over again crocheting double crochets?

  They are brilliant but I have found you don't want to lapse and with Star flower has mad me look younger, I felt It took a good few months to really see the difference, but nothing works over night , everyone comments on my look these days and I look feel like my late 30s and I am in my 50s so ***** stars from me

  I started watching this while I was frogging an old crochet project.., good tips, especially using thrifted yarns. Yes, you have to be a bit more creative, but thats the joy of it. If there was one tip I'd give my younger self, is to use generic types of yarn while learning. So many times Ive come across something Id made ( like now) and realised it was a hand dyed single lot of organic angora , vegan goat fluff from a 2 herd farm in Siberia! Annnnd I'd used it to learn making a granny square. (Badly)..., so I am now searching through old bags of wips, utterly horrified with the criminal acts of using these gorgeous yarns that way. But thats what happens when you thrift shop for yarn, you live and you learn. ☺

  Thank you so much for this!!! I had a question for increasing and decreasing in a skirt can you do it in a round and add the increases and decreases at the 2 ends of the skirt that you mark as the sides or does this only work when you make a skirt from a panel and then sew it closed?
