Thank you for sharing and for teaching me so much. I was making a top with your flower of life pattern which Was really easy and I love it but when I added it to the top I didn't like it and got a bit turned off by the top. So Im taking a break from it and making small things no garments until I learn more.. This video however inspired me so My break might be over. Hahaha. Thank you so much.

I have to say honestly I do a lot of free hand no pattern crochet work but I have yet to make a top that has a bra cup because I don't really care for the more traditional cups but i saw thus one and was like yes I have to try it I feel like it offers better coverage and is just lovely

Sorry, I just want to verify....So the initial rectangle is across the breast and then from the nipple to the top (flat part) In your case a little less than 8 across and a little less than 4 up and down? Then when you start doing the increase it's for the area under the nipple to the bottom of the breast until it covers the bottom of the breast?

Hi I love the video but I’m am confused on how to get how many rows I need. When you said you made 13 rows but you made it 3.25 inches. My row height would be the measurement of the height I get on my measurements

You may be using a different size crochet hook than what Maya is using in the video. This can affect the finished size/measurement that you're trying to achieve. You might need to do some "test" pieces with different sized crochet hooks to find what works best for you. Example: If you're using a hook that's bigger than the 3.5mm Maya's using, the less rows will be worked. The smaller the hook used, the more rows that will be needed..... I hope this makes some sort of sense, lol.

If I'm unable to get the measurements is there sizing you can recommend for each cup size?

@@MayaLunaCorazon sorry that was unclear. I'm making a few bralettes for a vendor event. Wanted to make a small ( a cup), medium (b cup) and large (c and d cup) . I was unsure what measurement to start the chain with. But I decided 2 in for the small, 3 inches for the medium and 4 inches for the large.

Could you make a video that explains how you are getting the rows needed to make based on the measurements? It's a bit confusing in this video

I had the same doubt. But I thought it's wierd not to increase. She says "add one half double crochet across..." at 11:10, so I figured it means increase at the every corner. But then the bra cup became square 😅 So I think we don't need to add anything and just keep making same number of stitches.

Just a question, is it better to measure with a bra on or without one?
