for the dec can i do an invisible decrease instead of just skipping a stitch? does it show holes where you skipped a stitch when you put it on?
@ABoCStudio

Yes you can definitely use Dc-decr instead of skipping ✨🧶😉
Can I make this using a thinner yarn or i mean not doubling it ? I hope you understand what I mean because sometimes I don't understand myself either 😃

Hii!! yess of course, for single strand you would want to find no.5 or no.6 (chunky/super chunky) yarn 😉💞

can i use half double crochet instead of double crochet so the hat is less holey
@ABoCStudio
Жыл бұрын
Yes of course you can! However, with HDC you would want to come up with your own sizing and use only the techniques and method in the video (independent from the written pattern’ sizing) 😉
Hello, my husband's head measurement is 58cm, and I used a single-strand no.6 to make an L size. But it turns out way too big for him that it covers his eyes completely😢 Since my husband like the colors of the no.6 yarn , should I make a size M/S for him using that yarn? Or do I need to use a no.5 yarn and make a size M? Thank you!! Great video BTW, very easy to follow and understand
@ABoCStudio
7 ай бұрын
Yess! I think you should definitely go for M/S and you can even check: using the try-on-chain method by wrapping the foundation on your husband head and it should be just about 1-2inches bigger 💞 I hope this reply is not to late 🥺💛
I love it! But how many chains did u do?
@ABoCStudio
Жыл бұрын
The number of chain depends on the size of the hat, you will see this number in the written pattern located at the right corner of the video at 3:15💕

Can I use sport weight yarn instead? 🥹
@ABoCStudio

Yes, you'll also need smaller hook ✨
I dont know if you still respond to comments here, but i have a question about the string chain. You see im trying to make a hat like this but it doesn't have string chain. Is there any way you can do this without it? [I dont see my comment from the first time, so I'm sending it again]
@ABoCStudio

Hi💕 yes you can do crochet i-cord 🤩
is it supposed to be 59 chains for a small size? because it would make more sense for a 59 chains for a medium if the large is gonna be 61 instead of 55 chains for a medium
@ABoCStudio
10 ай бұрын
Oh man! Thats a mistake right there 😿 thank you for noticing! It should be: Xs-49 S-52 M-55 L-61 Xl-67 Xxl-73
Hi just out of curiosity (im new to crochetting) why do you turn the work if its a circle?
@ABoCStudio
7 ай бұрын
Hi there 💞so, Turning is for the sake of straightening the chain line, which is visible on finished piece (the line created by the chain 2 that you make after slip-stitching to join each round). If you don't turn your work, the shape of your piece would still be fine, but the chain line will be tilted, which is not a big deal if you don't mind. As long as you still keep the same number of stitches on each row/round, your project will stay in shape! Nevertheless, "turning" is one of the basics in crochet. So I'd recommend that it's good practice to turn when the pattern tells you to ;)

How many yarn balls you need for this
