Crispy Smoked Chicken Wings on the Offset Smoker (Workhorse Pits 1975)

On this video, I smoked up some super crispy chicken wings on my workhorse pits 1975 offset smoker. The rub I used consist of black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika,cloves,cinnamon,mace and cardamom. I ran my smoker for 45 minutes at 300-325 F until done.

you did two different videos on wings. which method did you prefer more? smoking the wings at a lower temp until they hit 155-160ish and finishing in deep fryer, or this hot and fast method on the top rack at 325 degrees?

Both methodes are legit if you ask me... it's just matter of preference. personally I like the smoke fry better 💯💯

What is the ideal temp to start putting your meat on the cooker

you can put the meat anytime you wish... I usually wait till the smoker comes up to temp (250-275) to avoid dirty smoke
