Crema de Fruta Recipe | How To Make Crema de Fruta | Chiffon Cake with Creamy Custard and Fruity Jelly Layer | Mortar and Pastry

Ingredients:
CUSTARD
4 egg yolks
⅓ cup sugar
⅓ cup cornstarch
2 cups fresh milk
1 tsp vanilla
CHIFFON
2 cups cake flour, sifted
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
⅓ cup sugar
6 egg yolks
⅓ cup evap
½ cup vegetable oil
1 ½ tsp vanilla
Meringue:
6 egg whites
½ tsp cream of tartar
⅓ cup sugar
Pour in a 10x10 square pan, greased and lined with parchment
and bake in a preheated oven at 170C for 25 minutes or until cake springs back when pressed
GULAMAN
4 cups water
1 cup fruit cocktail juice
¾ cup sugar
1 pack (25g) white gulaman, unflavored
Fruit cocktail, drained (separate the cherries for decoration)

Is it really 2 cups of cake flour? Cause I always get a dough like mixture.

I guess it's just 1 cup coz I always get the dough consistency too in 2 cups.

Yes po 1 3/4 cups APF + 1/4 cup cornstarch as substitute sa 2 cups of cake flour :)

Hi! It's like a gelatin but made from seaweed. It was used to lock in the fruits and for a glossy finish :)

Tried it and i failed... the chiffon recipe is not right... the consistency is like a cookie dough... anyways we’ll try another recipe...

I failed.. The cake is too dry😢
Mali po yata yung measurements ng mga sangkap nyo, kasi po naging dough yung chiffon ko. Tama po ba yung sukat ng baking powder at cake flour niyo?
mali po ang measurement kasi tinry ko yung chiffon hindi naman naging fluid yung consistency gaya nung sa inyo
