Creating WIFI Firmware for ESP8266 8 Channel I2C Relay.

Ғылым және технология

Welcome, everyone! In this video, we dive into our 8-channel electromagnetic relay board and its firmware. We'll make some small changes to the firmware and upload it to the chip. But before that, let's see how this device functions with its current firmware. We have eight buttons, each controlling a corresponding relay. For example, we can turn them on or off individually, or even all at once.
Now, let's make some modifications in our Arduino coding. We'll rename the buttons for clarity, such as 'Red Off' to 'Red On' and 'Green On' for the second button. The third button can be named 'Living Room Off,' and when pressed, it will turn on the living room light.
As we wait for the code to compile and upload, let's discuss the hardware features of our board. It comes with eight electromagnetic relays and a versatile chip with I2C capabilities. With I2C protocol support, you can easily integrate this board into projects with multiple boards, thanks to its adjustable address.
With these relays, you can control both AC and DC devices, making it a versatile choice for various applications. Whether it's lamps, appliances, or LED lights, this board has you covered.
Now that our code uploading is complete, we'll reconnect to the chip using Wi-Fi and a mobile phone to see the results of our firmware changes. We'll demonstrate how the buttons now function according to the modifications we made.
It's that simple! We've covered the basics of this board and its firmware, highlighting its key features. You can power the board through the adapter socket or the green terminal, giving you flexibility.
If you have any questions or need further details, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for joining us, and have a wonderful day
