Very nice. I am going to try this method this weekend. Seems like you might need more snow to have the sleeping platforms perpendicular to the hillside instead of paralllel.

I have a question: what keeps the roof from collapsing on you? Isn’t that very dangerous?

The arc is a shape in nature that has great integrity and strength. You create the ceiling in the form of an arc.
