Watching you shovel in layers reminded me of a few winters spent on Misawa AFB Japan. One of my favorite places in the world is Sapporo on the island of Hokkaido, Japan...easily accessible via ferry from Misawa. There is also a huge skiing area, Towada Shi where your only concern is the kamikaze kids on skis! They will literally ski circles around you while downhilling. Apres ski abounds literally in layers of ice and underground levels of commerce and fun. If you haven't been, I highly recommend going. Brush up on your survival Japanese...no worries, if all else fails, your host will escort you where you want to go! The food and drink is excellent, especially after a long day on the slopes, the scenery exquisite and the ice festivals are amazing. Check it out sometime, you won't be sorry.

So I live in portland oregon so nice to have you back. I saw a special on mount rainier once that said that the inside of mount rainier is just lattice work and that the whole thing could implode at some point. That seems so unlikely and it is so beautiful but the interior structure has become quite fragile according to this program. Have fun nice adventure to go on, Blessings from grandma Teri In portland

Congratulations on your 100k subscribers you definitely deserve it, your content is amazing. I really enjoy it becuz im from western Pa & i don't get to see mountains or snow like that. Pa does get snow, but unfortunately its eastern Pa that gets it the western side we're lucky if we get to see 6 to 8 inches all winter long. We mainly get the cold temps, so yea i really enjoy watching you play in the snow. It's amazing how the snow is still there in july, that doesn't leave much time for greenery before it starts snowing again lol. Happy Memorial Day! 😘Have a Save holiday weekend & im looking forward to your Alaskan adventure it's going to be fun.

first your backpack is AT ambient temperature so in the snow or in the pack is the same ... it's in a fridge .. so burying your meat is a complete waste of time when building a sow shelter always build it on a pattern ... so the wind doesnt blow directly into your shelter ... Paciific Salmon ... dont forget to check it with a geiger counter ... thanks to Fukushima STILL pouring water by fissure into the ocean ... worst design for a snow shelter ... tbh ... the stove shelf is too high ... on the ground so it provides HEAT to the shelter while in use ... up top it is useless ... like this video
