My brother learned to build structures like this in the Army. Years ago he was stationed on a long wooded stretch on the border between East and West Germany during the winter. Since there was little to do but catch glimpses of similarly bored East German guards, he decided to build a structure similar to this. He said it was surprisingly comfortable and he and the other guys would take breaks in there, reading and playing cards.

As cute as the dog shelter is, who wouldn't sleep *with* their dog in sub zero temperatures? Plus sleeping with your pets keeps *you* warm.

Lie: love is low standard and = lust (fact love is high standard as love means> John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Lie> do what thy wilt there is no body who has the right to judge you (fact> GOD SHALL JUDGE YOU AFTER YOU HAVE DEPARTED ON EARTH and Christians are also called to give out righteous judgment, therefore repent * born again * go and sin no more) lie: slavery is over (fact: slavery was never over, it just changes a little as we are no longer buy`d or sold, still prepared through school systems for our future slavery, succumb to our slave lives based on our free will) lie: BIBLE is man written and a fairytale (fact: BIBLE is written by GOD, through man, bible is not fairytale. BIBLE IS: BASIC INFORMATION/instruction BEFORE LEAVING EARTH = BIBLE. A book - yes, book which we all need as it is only one filled with information and instructions we all need for life on earth. Lie: There is no truth, no right nor wrong and all is allowed as long as you are happy. The point I was hinting at is that often the task of surviving is something that fills us with great anxiety, but wild outdoor pursuits turn that anxiety into a source of joy and relaxation, and provide a feeling of personal acheivement and accomplishment that has nothing to do with how much money you're earning or how many social or professional connections you have. I started doing the same bc of my depression and mental health was taking a toll. I’ve been taking short trips into the woods in my backyard and collected a bunch of downed trees and dead standing trees that would fall over during the wind /snow storms and now it’s been a couple weeks and I’ve built a 6.5 foot tall x 7 x 7 feet shooting hut with a table/ gun bench 3 logs wide just using things I’ve learnt while watching bushcraft videos and camping videos. I was gonna weave a whole wall and window but boyyy does that take a lot of saplings / bendy branches and ALOT OF TIME.. so I’ve built the whole thing like a quilt. This Can you come at war another technique I’m not trying to make a window with another technique. Lol I’m 30. Im from Germany and once I was working for my grandfather who has a small handyman business. I had to cut the big trees surrounding our property. So I was hanging up there in a big ass tree and one of our customers, an older guy came along with my grandfather, looked at me and said "if watching one work is so much fun already how much fun must it be to work yourself" and laughed. I suppose its an old German saying that I never heard before but I always remember that moment. It was so funny to me and your comment made me think of it.

Really great shelter! I was wondering if the placement in the lower area meant a chance of a “flash flood” but maybe with the temps this low, it’s not a concern as precipitation would be snow.

I really appreciate the shots where you're taking the time to think. So many random shelter build videos out there make it seem like folks just know what they're doing almost on auto-pilot, when it is important for folks to understand that slowing down, taking your time, and really being patient and thoughtful about decisions is how to be successful with this kind of thing. Thank you for including those!

I will be honest. You make so many mistakes that it is not even funny and people that watch you could die. Use 1 match not 3. Use your sled as a door OR SOME PART OF ELEMENT PROTECTION. Do not carry extra weight like a CAST IRON PAN or a DIGITAL THERMOMETER. Woe dude bring more than eggs or learn how to really hunt and survive. Do not be a joke and use a real tent. DO NOT SLEEP IN A RIVER BED!!! Did it not rain for 2 months? Are you stupid? Just saw the thumbnail... Know you are a liar. You would build a house where a dam relieves water? ARE YOU A FISH?
