Keep in mind the voices you heard are the past pilots that had controlled the knight, a copy of their mind resides on the throne mechanicum. In order to pilot a knight you not only need to be compatible but also have a will strong enough not to let the machine override your will. Past memories of battle and events can drown the pilot as the machine goes on a rampage and thats for both the loyalist or chaos knights, but chaos knights can also have daemons or are on their way to becoming one.

Sacristans are a combination of engineer and priest, trained pretty much from birth in the arts of repairing a knight's armour, and the much fuzzier science of tending to the machine spirit (much closer to true a.i. than many) that is bound to its systems. Machines are hard enough to deal with, machines with a personality can be a royal pain... And when they come with the ghosts of every pilot to ever commune with them, they can be a nightmare given form, and not just for the enemies of the current pilot...

Something people dont talk about had much is, even though the inhabitants of the machine can drive you crazy, and can be what we call "evil", they can also be useful and beneficial, at least for the inhabitants of the machine.

Chaos Knights my favorite one is that was cover with flesh and blood after so many kills that when Necrons Flayed Ones discovered him started going around with him and treat him as a Necron God.

I just subscribed to your channel yesterday, I didnt know what all you reviewed, but once I seen the title of the video, I got excited and instantly clicked it. Vox in the Void is one of my favorite channels, and I like your reviews of it😊.

@Twenttwohya you may like the world of darkness RPG, especially werewolf the apocalypse.

It's not as bad being born with it ☺️☺️☺️ I'm a schizophrenic. Don't get me wrong I can't function like others but with self discipline it can be overcome . Mine is a little different though. 12 voices constantly speaking but it's like i understand them almost like they are private conversations but all bundled into one moment 😊😊😊 . Love the videos btw seeing someone learn of 40k for the first time is a joyous occasion 😊😊😊

Is that your 1st 40k book? Are you doing audiobooks. I haven't done that one but have done Eisenhorn and Ravanor books, most of Cain books, and 1st 4 Heresy audiobooks. They're all excellent with great narrators.
