Red Corsairs are also a somewhat tragic story. Huron was upset that the nobles ruling his world were corrupt and his pleas to the imperium for help dealing with them were ignored. So he took mstters into his own hands and said fuck the imperium and revolted. The imperium atacked and he went chaos. Now they're basically chaos pirates. Very brutal.

14:44 calling Red Corsairs "warband" is an understatement. They actively expand their numbers and have grown into a size matching pre-heresy legion. They also command vast fleet of mortal pirates and traitors. Also they may be serving chaos undevided as a faction, but individual members or groups within the faction can favor some gods over others

I'm actually so impressed with how much info you're retaining. There's so many reactors who forget everything by the time they react to their next 40k video. Kudos. As far as other recommendations go. There is this youtuber called Sodaz, he used to make 40k fan animations before GW bought out a bunch of fan animators. He's taken down all his stuff but others have reuploaded them. Would definitely recommend his video's labelled "Death korps of Krieg" and "Seige" as well as a couple of his other stuff.

Yes, that is the biggest problem of the Imperium. To often they think the Imperium of man can only be hold together with brutal tyranny. But this brings so many recruits to the chaos.

So the red corsairs are my favorite chaos army. They were created from the Badab war. It's one of the most understandable falls in all of 40k. I think you'd really like it. I highly recommend arbiter ian's summary of the story. Also red corsairs are chaos undivided. I think people confused them with the world eaters who also... have red armor.

@@TheHandofDestiny it all started (this is an over simplification) with them taking the guard from him after denying the additional resources to stabilise his area. Then he stopped sending taxes. (There is a lot of unknowns... he could have been up to no good before then. Such as stealing tiger claws gene seed).

Just because the group is chaos undivided doesn't mean individuals don't worship specific chaos gods, and khorne being one of the most picked by chaos space marines means that there is a high likely hood that even within a group like the red corsairs will have quite a few khornite berserkers among them.

The Red corsairs were once the loyalist legion know as the Astral Claws, they were one of the Chapters assigned to guard the maelstrom region and got royally screwed over by the Imperial bureaucracy, which pushed their Chapter Master Lufgt Huron to go renegade and was subsequently seduced by the dark pantheon. The Red Corsairs have been a major thorn in the Imperium's side since.

For Red Corsair's check Badab War story, they became renegates after horus heresy if I remeber corectly . They was caled Astral Claws before fall to chaos. I dont think we know the legion they geneseed is coming from.

Also the tiger claws. It is possible huron was stealing their gene seed. When their chapter master couldn't get any he went to earth and was never seen again. And huron took over control of the tiger claws afterword.

I listened to the Book Huron Blackheart Master of the Maelstrom not to long ago, and now this to finish it off. I'm really liking the Red Corsair's alot.

Jokes on him because there is a 99% probability he's just going to wind up as a chaos spawn. He's simply traded one uncaring god for another.
