I went to an Asia/Lou Gramm concert just before the march 2020 covid lockdown. At 70, Lou Gramm was nearly as good as his heyday. It was my sons 1st concert and he was already a Foreigner fan, but he was blown away by Lou Gramm and his insane voice. If you never heard Lou sing with the originals, listen to his early work. By the way, He was a drummer. Haha

Ann Wilson has a better voice, more range and power than Janice Joplin had. Cass Elliot had as much range, but not the intensity. Grace Slick had the power, but the range. And let us not forget Miss Linda Ronstadt, and Christie McVie (the "heart" of Fleetwood Mac) and Joan Jett and Bonnie Riatt (who sings more blues and Americana than rock). Guess I have dated myself and listed my favorite female rock and blues female singer. Nancy Wilson has beautiful voice and lots of heart and power, and is right up there with Joan Jett and Bonnie Riatt in the top 20 of female guitar players. Each of these beautiful ladies does what they do well. We are blessed to be alive while they did and are doing what they do. RIP Janice and Cass. To all of the rest of you, "Rock on ladies". The world is a better place because of all of you. A special shout out to Linda Ronstadt: You are missed. Parkinson's is a cruel disease.

That's an understatement.

Anne’s vocals are some of the highest, most aggressive in rock. The raw power and comfort to hit those notes was a feat in the 70’s, let alone 40 YEARS LATER. Seriously. Not one bit of cheating, not letting the crowd sing, not lowering the song, she has always had IT. Almost seems impossible to sing these songs at this level for so long.

I remember on the radio as a kid I would hear songs like these and then at the same time hear music like the Michael Jackson or Phill Collins, and still grew during the early days of hip hop (80s and 90s) but enjoyed all kind of music and still listen to groups like Heart to this day because yeah they killed it back then and still are great now!

Wake up ladies, that guitar attack in the end with Howard, Roger and Steve hasn't been heard in decades, that's HEART. Bury your hatchets, equal splits, put the band back together and go have fun kicking ass.

This freaking performance is ridiculously transcendent. Both of the sisters showed the peak of their talent and skill, and you can see the guys jamming together and grinning from ear to ear because they knew they were on fire that night.

Nancy was 59 at this point.,...how awesome is this. Ann was 63... talk about longevity and taking care of your vocals.

This song hit the charts about 2 months before my HS graduation im 1976. It was an oasis in a sea of Disco CRAP! A reminder of how great the music during my HS days had been.

I love that Howard Leese also plays with Paul Rodgers and Bad Company. The musicianship is outstanding! I've loved Heart since Dreamboat Annie came out. Thank you for being YOU Heart!

Saw Heart in 1978 in Suffern NY and was blown away by hearing Ann's voice live and Nancy rockin the guitar. Saw them years later in 2015 at Foxwoods Casino. They were even better then the 78 show. Ann's voice was still strong and Nancy still had that leg kick while rockin around the stage. And yes Nancy has gotten more beautiful with age.

Nancy playing her signature Martin HD-35. Sounds amazing. I've been listening to Heart since I was a kid. I even did a report on them for school. I used the Magazine Album.

As a singer myself, Ann Wilson has long been an artist I have admired and have a deep respect for. When I was 12 I heard Magic Man on the radio and I was hooked. Ann and Nancy both have been an inspiration to me. So much talent. Their music will always been a huge influence on me and others like me.

Nancy Wilson.... The coolest smoothest leg kickin guitar woman of rock. She's simply awesome!
