Thanks for the video! I am downsizing because of age from 800lb BMW to a more practical size bike the NC750x dct is one I am considering. The only issue is the leg/foot rest so when i saw your install of the engine protection bars I was thrilled.

I installed the crash bars tonight, and your video probably saved me several hours. Took me about three hours overall. Like you, I found that the right side bracket needed to be ground into a longer oval, they did not make it correctly. Also, as you did, the center bracket where I tried to mount it, which was the correct spot, still didn’t fit. It was too short. I suspect there is a significant tolerance in manufacturing, so some of them might join together where it was designed, and the rest of us can cut it off and grind it.

We are so glad this video helped save you some time and it's kind of a relief to hear that we were correct in that it wasn't made quite right and some mods were needed. Which thankfully were pretty easy to do.

Thx for the vid. I have a 2017 NC 750x DCT and installed Hepco Becker crash bar. Yours look better with sliders or could also be used as highway foot pegs! Happy trails. JP

Thanks for this video. here I was able to get a good look at the defense of this brand. Have you tried to fill up or lay down the motorcycle? How does this protection work?

I can say with pride, I have not dropped her so I can't speak for how the protection is. They are very sturdy and I have faith that they would do fine.

May i know the size of big bolt. I am going order the wrench set. So need size.

How did the sliders work out as highway pegs?

I think you should not cut it, I see the bolt you should use , minute 17:25 , but not sure

We see what you are talking about, but unfortunately that wasn't it. The bar wasn't very long and wouldn't even reach the radiator

@@bettertogetheradventures218 I just installed the same to mine its not the radiator bolt, is in the midle hided up, the extra bolt is to use it there because is longer that the one is there.
