Thank you sooo much. Did the job myself this morning and your video made it so much easier! I could have never managed to do it only with the garbage included instructions. Cheers from Italy!

I installed my engine guards yesterday . Thank you so much for the video . My 2018 has a slightly different hose clamp. Not an issue just different.

Amazing, thanks so much. Did it last wend and went together first time. I used a spoon to place the circular washers in place for the engine bolts and made the job super simple.

The tip with the scissors works a treat, be careful with the clutch cable bracket as the finish on the engine casing scratches very easily.

Thank you so much for the videos . I believe the NC750x is much more popular in Europe than the US. I’m in the US and aside from you and another man in the U.K. there is very little on this bike as far as videos go. I appreciate you making good videos for the rest of us. Keep them coming !

I like the sw motech bars better. They have a connector bar in front of the motor that connects both sides and forms a cradle around the motor.

@@FinnMikeonaBike Thanks for your great videos about a great motorcycle. Honda has made something special with the NC bikes since they stand for something rather unusual in our times of fast consumerism and buy, use and replace.....These bikes are real tractors and do stand the test of time by being super reliable, easy to maintain and very fuel efficient. In fact I like them so much that I have two. A 2013 NC700S on which I just completed 100.000 km since I bought it new. And a 2014 NC750S that my Honda dealer offered me at a reasonable price with 4000km which has now 27000 km . The reason behind having two is I don't own a car and I like to do all maintenance myself and with two bikes I still can assure having a vehicle at my disposal all the time. Hope you enjoy your bike as much as I do. Safe rides to you too ! 😊👍🏍

Is it really worth having this engine guard I wonder, imran what protection does it offer or its benefits? I only see this as additional weight to carry on suspension and if the bike tips over, it might do more damage to engine mounts, engine or worse void manufacturers warranty or insurance

Hi, I installed the same Givi engine guards on my NC. On the right side (the side where there is a hose and a clip ) while I was tightening the engine bolt, I didn’t notice that the wire next to to the hose got pinched by the bolt and the wire seems to have some parts cut. After that the NC doesn’t shift out of 1 anymore and gear indicator blinks and check engine light stays on. I was just wondering if you know what that wire is called since mine probably needs replacing.

Hi there, Great tutorial, Congrats! I have one question, Do you know if the "GIVI - TN1111 - Engine Guard" will fit on the new model 2021? I know that 2021 model is different from the old one 2020 and there is nowhere to find details about this. Thanks! in advance. :)

Ideally you should get the longer engine mount bolts from Honda. In any case, the bolts MUST be torqued to 54nm or you're going to get vibration

Good instructional video. What size socket is it? Hopefully I'll take delivery of my '20 NC750X by July. Lastly, I've been a mechanic for over 20 years and never been instructed to use a hammer to aid in loosening a bolt from an aluminum engine block. Use a breaker bar or pipe as an extension.

This is the DCT (dual clutch transmission) or automatic (essentially) gearbox. On the manual it's all in the normal place you'd expect.
