6:02 THIS. I'm one of those rare few that actually tries out some Indie games and exclusives to PS4, and games in Genres I don't like to see what will stick to the wall for me, but I'll be damned if even the Indie Games aren't all just becoming 2D Platformers or Garbage Rogues as well.

I think the far cry franchise has been handled pretty well, like they held on to what worked for them and introduced something new each game, Far cry 4 had lots of weapons, mountains and flying, Primal had the animal taming mechanic, Far cry 5 removed towers and minimap to promote exploration and New dawn added RPG elements.

Man who is buying the entire Sims 4 DLC for 1101 dollars, I’d rather be shoving my money into a toilet bowl because I think I’d be more entertained watching all the dollar bills I earned spiral into a pipe and clog up the entire plumbing system than paying that much money for a DLC that I will be forced to play while bored because I know I have payed 1101 dollars for.

I was in the same train for Biomutant, saw a trailer, got super hype... then reviews said it was boring

Actually if you read the recent ign, Russian & Japanese interviews with Miyazaki himself you'll realize Elden ring will play fundamentally different than Dark souls, he described Elden ring as an amalgamation of their previous work The game needed a showcase instead of just a trailer

I think you misunderstood, I am very excited for Elden ring. Especially the open world aspect, the way they are handling bosses sounds really unique. I also love that they are bringing back stealth. And the visuals in general look crazy e.g. the red lightning dragon, the big glowing world tree. It really does seem like the ultimate fromsoft game
