I bought this same mower ,which is not American made by the way...last September , worked great the 5 times I used it,put away for the winter, it's in the shop now still for weeks , waiting for the carb to get here from China.

This lawn mower is the best💯💯 (in my opinion)

how do you set the cables on the handles ?? to get it to pull it self and to cut off on its self

Any idea why a brand new machine will not start? Oil and gas is filled.

Still works great, I use it year round in Arizona. If you have snow, be sure to empty the fuel or put fuel stabilizer in the tank. I’ve had zero issues

I have this same mower . I used it 3 times last year , pulled it out yesterday and it wouldn't start. I live near Savannah , GA and it spent all winter in my outside storage shed protected. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance . 😎

@@seeshellslife7273 The first mechanic I took it too basically told me it wasn't worth his 65$ hr fee to fix it , but couldnt tell me what was wrong with it , hehehehehehehe

It says on the air filter cover on mine that you never have to change the oil and if you have that in yours you should still change the oil because I didn’t on mine and it broke later because my engine got worn out because of old oil

Great question- make sure the handle is extended all the way- otherwise the blade will be locked. Try that and let me know?

I would have destroyed my blade without watching you pull up the handle higher. That seems like terrible design. Thanks for the video!

Just purchased this exact mower and very disappointing. Did all the pre adjustments, handle, fuel, oil etc. Pull rope is seized and only retracts out about 5 inches that's it. Also I noticed the blade strikes the underneath of the mower deck. I purchased this because I thought Craftsman and Briggs and Stratton were pretty good manufacturers BUT I was wrong. Right out the box this mower cannot even start. I do not recommend this mower at all.

if you follow the assembly instructions you have to take the 2 retainers out of the handle and pull the handle out of the "shipping" configuration.

@@f62darkstar Correct. However this particular mower was defective. The motor was assembled incorrectly

These things are junk, bought a new one last year and used it twice before the engine locked up. Bought a craftsman pressure washer, got it out of the box and used it for 10 minutes when smoke came boiling out of it and it quit working. I have an older craftsman mower that has been through hell and still works, but all this new craftsman stuff is JUNK, and I'll never buy anything craftsman again, except for the hand tools

Great comment! Yeah the quality of an inexpensive craftsman mower is not what it used to be. Sorry yours didn’t work out
