Thank you so much! Your demo gave me just the help I needed.

The directions says after adding oil just put the dipstick in and take it out, DO NOT screw on. Basically you put the whole 12 oz of oil in. You did good!

Wish we had the same luck. My idiot brother bought one of these a couple weeks ago. He threw away the box and receipt. Did I mention he's an idiot? Of course he doesn't have a Lowes credit card to even trace the transaction (or get 5% off). ANYWAY, It wouldn't start. He thought I could get to going when I stopped by, since I fiddle a bit with mowers. I couldn't get it to start either.checked the plug,looks OK. Checked the gas shutoff, it's open. It has gas and oil. I'm not going to spend all afternoon troubleshooting a balrand new mower. Mower is DOA, won't even try to fire. It's going to have to go back one way or another. I pity the poor fool. Hope everyone else has better luck!

Yeah it’s a crap lawn mower. Ours stopped working after a year of use. Wouldn’t start. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

He spent more time than necessary playing with the oil level. Video could have been a minute shorter. I don't need to see every attempt at checking the oil level. I get it.
