I believe MTD is now making Craftsman branded mowers just as they made your old TroyBilt. I have a 30 year old John Deere push mower with a 190cc B&S that still runs like a top. Maintenance is the key.

I just got an M270...very similar to the m250...but with electric start....great machine so far

They still build Troy-Bilt TB230 mowers, but this time with newer style Briggs and Stratton engines that are cheaply made.

I'm on my third season with the M250 it's been great thus far.

No grass here in Southern New England yet. It ran very well last year. Hoping for the same this season.

7 years my last Briggs n Stratton mower lasted 22 years mowing a good sized yard..It would still be running if I didn't let a neighbor borrow it one time..He hit a piece of rebar and bent the shaft.

Grabbed one of these used not the best thing on the block but it’s sturdy

I would have bought my craftsman mower from Lowes but they wanted $78 to deliver. Bought one from Amazon free delivery.

I will be interesting to hear how the mower is holding up.

No problems with it what so ever. Gentle pull and it starts right up.

I have the model with the Honda engine and it runs amazingly...however that folding handle mechanism is absolutely terrible

@@MarkPlante I decided to say "screw it" and tightened them down as hard as I could. I gave it the "it's not going anywhere" incantation and hoping for the best.

I JUST unboxed mine. This is the second video that doesn't address my issue. Those gray clips at the very bottom of the push arm aeem designed for the flat part of the arm. They're actively rubbing the rear wheel. How did you get your to move up?

You need to pull the T-bolts at the base of the handle and slide the handle out about 8 inches or so until you see another set of holes to run the t handle bolts into. You won't be able to pull your starter rope out until you do that either because the bottom of the handle extends into the blade area which keeps the blade from spinning.

I have the same lawnmower. Bought it last year , only used it 3 times. Pulled it out today , and it won't start. Any suggestions ? Any advice ?

Maybe the gas has gone bad, it can go bad pretty fast

I would check the normal things, gas, oil, spark plug. Make sure the blade is not gunked up (be VERY, VERY careful and DO NOT USE YOUR HANDS FOR THIS!!!!!). If that doesn't work, contact the manufacturer for warranty information.

The Ez lock handle release lever became loose. How do I fix it?
