Misty Elam what’s the name of your desk top and risers? Are they IKEA products? What, Where did you get your Wall Ink Pad Storage? Thank you, look forward to your reply. Your room is beautiful. crystalmmpm88@gmail.com

@@ChrisWootenNorthCarolina everything is listed over on my blog. With links directly to each item. Go to my Craft Room Tour post and scroll all the way to the botttom. You will find my supply list there. The risers are from Ikea. They are called Capita. The 6x6 paper storage is from World Market. I have a link to that as well over on my blog. My supply list wouldn't fit here in the description of this video. But please read the video description for my website. LEt me know if you have any problems. I might be able to add the links in a comment. Or at least tell you which row it's located in or something.

The ink pad labels; a KZreadr named K Werner Design has a video on them called "Craft Room Organization - Ink Pad Labels". I hope those are the ones, they look somewhat identical. Although I don't see why you couldn't DIY those on sticker paper (removable sticker paper too) using your Silhouette or your Scan-n-Cut.

This is the perfect crafty space. I adore ALL of it. I’m so happy for you, this will give you years of creative joy! I find the more organized we are, it leads to more crafting time with fewer distractions. Never apologize for what you have. You deserve what makes you happy! Thanks for sharing, I have learned much from watching. I know this is an older post, but I’m sorry you lost your sweet Taffy. Losing our pets is so hard, but I’m so glad you have those paw prints. I wish I had done that. Have a wonderful 2021. 🤩

Well thank you for your kind words, Shelley. It took me a year or so to plan out exactly what I wanted because I knew I could only afford to do it once and the risers and drawers were at the top of my wishlist, for sure. Both are so useful!! Thanks again for watching. I wish you much success on organizing your creative space. 😊

I watched your video and love what your room looks like. Your storage ideas offered me some good ideas on how to use my space. Then I went to bed and when I awoke I put on the computer and it opened to your view of your old space and I thought I was in the wrong time zone and watched in wonder of what was going on. After about 45 seconds I pressed the button to go back to the last video that I viewed and realized that was your old space. Now I really think your room is fantastic! You must be so happy creating in this space! Happy for you! And honestly your old room has inspired me to go through my space more and purge what does not belong!

Hahaha, that's too funny. Thanks for the chuckle. Isn't the transformation crazy?!? I still can't believe it sometimes. That truly makes my day to hear that it has inspired you. As hesitant as I was to share the Before video, it's comments like yours that make me so happy that I DID share it. =) Happy purging!! I hope a little purging/organizing brings you a new admiration for your crafty space.

You are just too adorable, “I’ll try not to breathe too loud”. 😆 It amazes me what people complain about. Absolutely amazing craftroom tour. I love how everything is stored and organized. Your craftroom inspires creativity. I’m not buying anymore paper pads myself, I need to use up what I have first. New subscriber and big thumbs up. 😊

It amazes me too!! The woman doing the room tour was so sweet and it really made me mad that someone was being so nasty towards her. I just don't get it... Nope, no more paper pads for me either. This room is actually helping me to not buy more stuff. I love my craft room just the way it is and I don't want it feeling over stuffed again. That's something I didn't expect. These stamp companies make it hard though with new release every month... Well thanks so much for watching and subscribing. I really appreciate you.

I actually thought about posting the two hour version but I can’t find it now! I have no idea where I saved it.I’ve looked for it several times because I was going to try and edit it down the best I could but I can’t seem to locate it. Well thank you so much, Anna!! I'm so glad I could offer some inspiration. I know many people that have crafty corners, I've even seen a craft closet!! I think organization is key in smaller spaces. But if you have the room, I'd say go for it!! My room is my absolute happy place. I can spend hours in here!! In fact, I had to start treating my crafty time like a job and end it at 5pm when my hubby gets home because it felt like we never saw each other!! Anyway, thank you so much for watching my video. I hope you get your scrap room!! 💜

It really does. I was just recently in the hospital for a week and when I came home, my hubby was cleaning the house (which I love him so much for) but when I walked down the hall and opened my craft room door to see that I had left it nice and clean, now THAT was a feeling of pure joy!! LOL I think because I had been saving for this for so long and had all that time to plan it out, I knew I wasn't going to be able to do this again any time soon so I HAD to get it right. I did LOTS of research and spent a lot of time on Pinterest. All of that combined is why I'm so proud of this room. AND it's something my hubby and I did together which makes it that much more special. =) It truly is my happy place.

Thanks so much for sharing and taking the time to add all the links to your blog - so helpful! Love the wall mounts for your lights - definitely going to add those to my wish list. I like the idea of the "project bin" so you have everything you used organized and as silly as it might seem I love how you put the labels on your Alex drawers so you can see them but they aren't so in your face. And I'm so sorry for the loss of your cat - she was beautiful.

I didn't really have any idea what I was going to do with it, I just really liked it and thought I could store something in it. But it's turned out to be very helpful. YES!! I love how the labels are a little more discreet this way too. That little dip is perfect!! It's the small things like that that make me the happiest. =) Thank you so much for your kind words about my kitty. She was my little shadow. I really don’t craft much but you have a lot of good ideas for office storage and paper and pens storage. I am kinda a hoarder when it comes to paper and pens. I decided to subscribe because I really like the other content on your channel. Love your tours again thanks for taking the time to show us your process.

You know, I was happy in my cluttered space. There’s nothing wrong with that. But then the room kind of took over and it just felt.... overwhelming. It made me feel anxious and that wasn’t what I wanted to feel in my craft room. So if you feel creative and content in your space, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. 😊 When I stopped feeling inspired, that’s when I started to plan out a change and started saving for it. So I think it just depends on how you feel in your space. 💜💜

Hi Lois!! Thank you so much for your dear comment. I do miss my fur babies very much. I was actually thinking I could handle going to the Humane Society and adopting another little bundle of joy this weekend, but I just got news that one of my other cats won't be around much longer (he's got cancer in his tummy) so I've put the adoption on the back burner for now. As much as I love adopting animals, I just can't handle losing them!! I am sooooo happy that my links helped you. You are exactly the reason I do that. If I can help any of my viewers find something, I am happy to do so. I'm hoping you went to my blog post and not just the few I've listed in this video description, am I right? I just added today the items that are available from Amazon below all of the other items so if you click on any of the pictures, it should take you directly to that item. I hope that makes sense.... Thank you so much for watching, Lois. Did you happen to see my "before" video? YIKES!!! It's hard to believe it's the same room. =D

The awesome thing is I've seen people create a crafty corner in their kitchen or in their bedroom!! The smaller the space, the more important it is to keep things organized, I would think. Misty Elam your welcome! I have started making more progress so it’s coming together! I agree it’s fun planning but the cleaning part is the not so fun part. Many people I know who do videos & even blog say the negativity is one of the hardest things to overcome. Honestly probably one of the reasons I have never started doing so. But my mom & grandmother always use as say, you can’t please everyone so just do the best you can! As long as it’s makes you happy! Congratulations again, and I hope you are enjoying your room!

Great after!! I'm in the middle of finishing my room up and watched and listened while purging drawers lol! Where did you get the sleeves to store your papers in the mag files? I use some I got from Daiso for my collage pieces but yours look sturdier 👍🏻

You were just surrounding yourself with it. LOL . Well thank you for watching and/or listening, I appreciate it. I got them from Amazon. They're C Line Stitched Ticket Holders. I have a link to them over on my blog. If you go to my craft room tour post and scroll down to the bottom of the post, the ticket holders are towards the bottom of the supply list.

Great room! I haven't been able to get into mine and working at the kitchen table and I have been taking everything out going through it boxing it up so I can redo my room!! I told my husband I needed not only more storage but a new work station that would fit in the corner of the room! I see so many people using those legs on there stations and desks but can you sit in a chair and work with them? I am not a stand up crafter.. I have to sit while I craft because of my back and legs now.

Hi there!! I'm so sorry I didn't respond sooner. I'm not sure if you've seen any of my other videos, but I was suffering from health issues all year up until June so I'm still trying to play catch up on everything. You may have already redid you whole space by now, it's been so long. But just in case you haven't, yes you can still sit at the ikea desks although you might need a higher than normal chair. Like a barstool or I think the chair I use is called a drafting chair. It can go high or low. If you noticed in my video, the right part of my desk is high enough to stand at (or sit), but the left part is as low as a normal desk and my chair works for both. I don't stand too often either so a drafting chair is perfect. I hope that helps.

Hi. You have so many great storage solutions. May I ask where you purchased the white organizer on your desk that holds all your tools? Also, the risers? Thank you.

Well thank you so much!! I got the white organizer from Amazon and the risers from Ikea. If you want to see everything and where I got it, I have direct links to as many items as I could find over on my blog. Here's a link to the exact post, just scroll down to the bottom and click a link, it will take you right to it. happyinkdesigns.wordpress.com/2019/05/25/craft-room-tour-video/ I could only find a link to the organizer from Simon Says Stamp, but I actually got it from Amazon. It's the 5th item listed. Let me know if you have any issues finding it.

You had me at Evernote! ♥ I would love a drawer by drawer tour. Maybe break it up into short videos? 🤔 Thank you for taking the time to make this fabulous video. Don't mind the naysayers. They could always click off. 👍

Hahaha, isn’t Evernote amazing?!!? I don’t know what I’d do without it nowadays... I actually just posted a drawer video (for lack of a better title) today. I don’t have much in them, but I went thru them thoroughly. It’s included in my 2K giveaway video. I just combine them instead of doing 2 separate videos. I don’t like being on that side of the camera so the less I have to be, the better. 🤓 I agree, I don't understand why people continue to watch a video if they don't like it. Like you said, just click off of it!!

Your room is amazing! I must admit im a little jealous, its a dream. Im new to craftig and on a very low budget its either spend my little bit on organization or buy crafty goodies to try something new. So far the goodies have win but Im sure once I actually accumulate a "stash " that organization will become important. Congrats on the new space. No need to apologize for filming. We all need to spread kindness and positivity. Ignore those that chose to try and bring one down, its sad but some only know negativity and are miserable. Your hair is beautiful btw. Tyfs!

Hi, Darlene!! I remember being in that EXACT same position. Spend the little I had on crafty goodness, or spend it on "making a craft room". GO FOR THE CRAFTY GOODNESS!!! The organization is optional... =) LOL I couldn't agree with you more about spreading more kindness and positivity. And on very note, I'm going to be giving away some of the supplies I've accumulated but never touched. I just haven't quite decided how to go about it yet. I'm taking a lot of the big stuff to goodwill today, that came out of my craft room, but I want to give away some of the smaller items. So as soon as I figure that out, I'll share it here on YT. I just really appreciate that you and all these other people actually take the time to watch my videos and leave me such wonderful, positive feedback. It fills me heart every time. So I’m working on that. =)

You did an amazing job Misty! I have so much stuff and don't know where to begin! I don't make cards too much anymore and wish I knew someone who could use it all. Love your new space! Miss chatting with you! Hope you are well! Hugs my friend!

WHAT?!?! You don't really make cards anymore?!!? Is that a thing??? just kidding, I hear ya. It can be very time consuming. Now that I have my surgery out of the way, I'm going to try and only be in my craft room until my kid gets home from school. I want to try and treat it like a job so that I'm not in my happy place night and day. My hubby was starting to forget what I looked like. =) If it were just me, I would be in there night and day, but being in the hospital always makes me realize what I'm missing out on being in my cave all of the time. Man, there's gotta be someone that would LOVE to put your supplies to good use. You don't know any other cardmakers in your area? I don't. I don't know anyone that makes cards like I do where I live. What about selling some of it? At least make a little money back...? I miss chatting with you too, my friend. I would say we can still chat on Facebook, but I never get on Facebook... I want to try and be more active in creative groups on there so hopefully I'll be on there more often. I'll poke in and say hey from time to time. =) . Thanks so much for watching, Shauna. I really appreciate you!! Hugs, my dear ~

Hi Pat!! Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've been dealing with lots of health issues for the past month. Thank you for your comment. I believe I got those cubes from Michael's a few years back. And the plastic sleeves, I believe you are talking about the coin pockets that I use to keep all of my distress ink blending foams in. Is that what you're talking about? They're 2"x2" coin pockets and I found them on Amazon. If you go to this blog post and scroll down to the bottom, I have a picture of them and if you click on it, it will take you directly to the item on Amazon. Let me know if I'm way off and that's not even what you were talking about. =) . Thanks so much for watching!!
