Jane, Beautiful craft “playroom!” You instantly reminded me of my mother who loved being a VIRGO, had auburn hair-but later your color, had a great sense of humor, and the energy of an ever-ready battery! I hope you enjoy many years in your wonderful room (that elevator shaft was a brilliant idea!) and love the fact that you posses the common trait of most paper crafters in that they LOVE to GIVE their creations away! You certainly have the opportunity to be a blessing to many!

You need a roll of non-skid mat from Lowes to line the bottom of your die containers so the sleeves don't move or slip...it works great. Your room is a DREAM......LOVE IT !!! Thanks for sharing your space.

It comes in a long roll ( white or black ) you cut to size of bottom of your container....works for stamps also....no more falling down, they will stay upright even when not full. I also use those clear acrylic drawers & put the mat in the bottom of some of them for my drawers with heat tools & one with my glitter bottles so they don't move around or fall over.

Oh my GOODNESS! This is by far, the most beautiful space I’ve seen. It’s like a piece of heaven on the lake. Every inch has been designed for the type A crafter. I absolutely love your craft room. It makes me want to build a house to get the craft room I long for, but I neither have the finances nor the energy to do it. I am 62 and unable to get a job now, with COVID and ageism. So I am having to transform a room from what it was into what it will be. And it will never be what yours is. I am envious!

I have two hobbies, one is stamping and the other is collecting the stamps. Can so relate. Literally lol. Thank you for sharing. LOVE your room. I also loved to see what products you used. After watching these craft room videos I no longer believe creative people and organized people are an oxymoron

omg! This is the Mercedes of Craftrooms. I love the flooring and the fact you kept all your cabinetry all white. I have 2 cats like yours. They too want to lay on my craft table when I'm working. I too like to be organized..it drives me nuts when I can't find something. Your husband did a great job filming..very steady! I don't think I would ever want to leave that room. Even the 2 chairs look INVITING! All that's missing is a small fridge to keep your drinks in so you don't have to run downstairs. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your space.

@@PositivelyJane I bought a small pink frig that I ordered from Pottery Barn...it was the only place I could find a Pink one. I didn't have room for it in my actual craft room either. I had to put it in another room...I call it the annex craft room in my basement. It keeps me from running up the stairs.

@@jaditelady173mary4 Great idea. I have 2 annex closets and an annex space in the attic (same floor I am on) where I keep my boxes and such for packaging. I love packaging as much as I love card making. I have a little area outside my room...I might turn it into a 'kitchen' for me. Does your frig work ok? Never thought the Barn had refrigerators...I used to work there back in the day.

Late to the party but I love the way your cat makes an entrance at the beginning. Like Hi I'm here too. Hehe!

Love,love,love your craft room! I watched thre vid twice now making notes and checking Amazon and IKEA. I am a tall girl so putting legs on drawer systems is a fantastic idea especially when you have back issues. I am renovating my craft room as we speak, a complete gut. It is a " SMALL" space and I use that word in a "BIG " way LOL but with all your ideas I can really take advantage of the space I have. Your husband did a fantastic job with being the videographer. Shout out the hubby! I am now a subscriber and good luck in your future makings.

Oh my goodness! I am so impressed with the organization and details at which you have labeled things and color coded things etc. it is like a craft store in itself! When you said you started this hobby four years ago, I was floored at the mass amount of stuff you had acquired in that short amount of time. I am a painter and working on my craft room now. I came across your room, while looking for craft room inspiration videos. Your definitely gave me lots of ideas for my many other crafts I do as well. You are quite a gem!

Love your craft room ! It's my dream room....I outgrew my craft room years ago, it's just too small ! I do have a long narrow room in my basement that I used as my classroom for Scrapbookers Club & I had 2 6' tables end-to-end & 8 chairs down center....now it's too full with overflow ! My biggest collecting problem ( besides paper ) is Die Cuts !!!
