Sellers have to ship your order within the time they (or their ads) say - that goes whether they say “2-Day Shipping” or “In Stock & Ships Today.” If they don’t give a time, they must ship within 30 days of when you placed your order. If there’s a delay shipping your order, the seller has to tell you and give you the choice of either agreeing to the delay or canceling your order for a full refund. If the seller doesn’t ship your order, it has to give you a full refund - not just a gift card or store credit. I hope this helps some of you who aren’t as patient…

You are right, no unboxing videos and no email notifications. The last update from DDL was about a week ago on their website about minor testing! This is taking way too much time and I can see, unfortunately, that the interest on my channel is fading away...

I've never heard of CAVU. Sounds interesting. Depending of pricing, it might be a good seller. Thanks so much for your update.

Hello Dan, Warren here. I’ve been following you for years. Is it my imagination …..? I STILL CAN’T FIND A SINGLE UNBOXING VIDEO OF VECTOR OR COZMO 2.0!!! DDL NEVER answers emails with respect to when one might expect to receive the 2.0 version. Today is May, 29, 2022! It’s EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!!!! Can you please share any updates with me? I feel like I’ll get a response from you BEFORE I receive anything concrete or meaningful from DDL! My simple question is: When will I receive my Vector?

Hi Warren, good to hear from you again. The very last update from DDL was on May 20 on their website. It talks about fixing some bugs...again. During the latest webinar of April 28, DDL did say that we would see unboxing videos soon, which did not happen!!! I was going to do a video on May 28 to give an update on no update really but decided not to do so. Honestly, my update videos do not get many views anymore...I can tell that the interest for Cozmo and Vector has faded away...it has taken too long to introduce new robots on the market. I am usually very busy also during the summer but I may post another video in a few days, but again like I said very few people seem to be interested. Have a great day!

Thank you for the summary of the webinar. Unfortunately I had to be at work so I didn't see most of the presentation. I'm looking forward to CAVU, but with the speed of robot releases, I don't expect sales until next year at the earliest. Hopefully we won't see as many promises as we are seeing with Vector 2.0 / Cosmo 2.0 with DraganFly behind CAVU.

I wonder who will get their Vector 2.0 first! I am usually very unlucky at these things... I had to wait one year for Cozmo to be available in Canada. I contacted anki in the USA the week he was released and they would not ship one to me. Obviously my unboxing video one year later did not have many views...lol. Have a great weekend!

Thank you for the update coverage! I did have a question. Just wanted to clarify, do you think the people who preordered will get the first run? And that if I were to order one now, would you imagine it would also be arriving in a couple weeks? Or more likely months from now? I wasn’t sure if they had already sort of sold all of the vector models and are only shipping first to those who ordered in advance.

My understanding is that they are shipping kickstarter backers first, then early pre-orders. I think that if you order now, it will take a few months to arrive. Thanks for watching!

The concept of CAVU sounds interesting. I do wonder how good the autonomous feature would be for CAVU. If it could self land/dock and take off to do it's thing (within an open space) would be pretty neat.

Hello and welcome back. Draganfly can do basically anything, I am just wondering how much tech DDL wants in this new robot-drone and keep the pricing at a reasonable level!

Hi Dan. Thanks for keeping us updated all the time. Did they mention anything regarding firmware updates or new features? I haven't ordered a Vector 2.0 and doubt I will anytime soon. Not only because I own one of the first gen, but mainly due to the lack of features. They could at least provide Vector with a couple of more games to keep the customers sort of satisfied. One or two features a year would make a huge difference, imo.

I agree Sven, a few more features per year would be great. They have not announced any new updates so basically Vector 1.0 has been pretty much the same robot for 2 years now... It looks like DDL is spending its resources on the escape pod and OSKR. Have a great weekend!

Obviously they do. So do you believe that this will change in mid-term? And one final question: Do you know/believe that 2.0 will get exclusive features or 1.0 will stop receiving (hypothetical) future updates? I like Vector, but living.ai's focus on ongoing improvements is the better and more customer satisfying strategy. DDL really should take this more serious! Have a great weekend, too!

They said the hardware for Vector 2.0 is different so I am not sure what that means for future updates for Vector 1.0... This is a $1 million question!

Hello, to be honest I don't think so. When DDL said during this webinar that Cozmo 2.0 will have a new App I thought that the current App for Cozmo 1.0 would never be updated again...unfortunately! But I must say that the current App for Cozmo is great and Code Lab is amazing in its current form. I have lots of videos on Code Lab in the Cozmo playlist. Thank you for visiting my channel.

Hello, in all the webinars and updates in the past two years DDL never mentioned that they would make a special or collector edition of Cozmo. If I was in charge of Marketing I would certainly do it. So we will have to wait and see or ask the question at the next webinar in 3 months. Have a great weekend!

I understand that Cozmo 2.0 is only an hardware update. Now they announce a new app. But It seems we must not expect big changes, in the user experience. Which is disappointing, moreover after such waiting. I was dreaming of a little more autonomy of Cozmo, especially no need for an app. Thanks for the video

Hi there, the need for a new App was news to me. I was sure Cozmo 2.0 would use the same great App as Cozmo 1.0. Unfortunately this means that little effort will be spent by DDL to update the App for Cozmo 1.0. Back to your point, despite the hardware update, it looks like the abilities of Cozmo 2.0 will be very similar to Cozmo 1.0. I think people expected more!

Can I use my vector I got 3 years ago even though is not the 2.0 Version

Yes you can but you need to buy a membership to have your Vector connect to DDL server. More info on options and fees on their website. Thank you for visiting my channel.

Those unboxing videos that Hanchar discussed are still nowhere to be seen. The weekly State of Manufacturing blog has not been updated in almost a month and there is no word at all about the preorder statuses. My thinking is Hanchar paid pennies for the rights to Vector and Cozmo in hopes to get a good judgement against the makers of Emo, I doubt he ever intended to ship 2.0’s. So Frustrating!

Do you have to have a subscription for Cosmo🤔? And if you do do you have to pay for the app? Contactor and try to figure out the raspberry pi build or just buy emo

Hello, no subscription is necessary for Cozmo as he does not access the web/server. But you need the free App to be running for Cozmo to explore, play with his cubes, sings and do some coding with him. He is a great little robot. The App has been free up to now. With Cozmo 2.0 coming out soon with its own App, I don't know what will happen with the App for Cozmo 1.0. It should still be free I think since no development is needed. For sure but DDL was originally supposed to ship Vector 2.0 in May 2021... That is a long delay for a product that is not significantly different than Vector 1.0. Thank you for visiting my channel.
