Thats coz they did not take pictures every 2 seconds ....they valued those picture days coz they were rare and made sure it was special ..but today everyone is taking pictures every other second until it has come to a place where it's not special anymore ...even relationships and marriage today are been devalued coz everyone is sleeping around with everyone or shacking up before marriage ..by the time they go to get married ..it has no value coz u have been with everyone under the sun and that first kiss u and your mate have is no longer a special kiss ..just another kiss ...just look at that dating show the one with one woman or one man chosing from a bunch of potentials ..what do they do to test the waters ??..they kiss everyone they are interviewing and do sexual stuff with all of them ..and by the time they pick the one they want ..it's not special anymore ...just another bloke or girl that they fooled around with ...what I am trying to say is that when we decided to throw the way God intended things to be ..that's the day we stopped caring about the special things in life ..anyways that's your comment to your comment lol

I met my husband when I was 9 and he 11 in 1966. I was the cooks daughter and he was the boss's son. I even moved overseas with my mother for two years when I was 11 and we wrote to each other. Everyone thought it was innocent until we got to about 15 and 17 and they realised we were so attached to each other. All kinds of hurdles were thrown at us and requirements. We stuck with it and got married at 19 and 21 and have been together ever since and had 4 kids and now 6 grandchildren. We are about to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary.

@@simpgodd4646 do you know the date of your adoption and the state where your adoption took place? If you have this information you can contact the Department of Children and Families in that state. That was where I started and since I was 17y/o I included a letter from my adoptive mother giving me permission to receive the information. The state will send you general ( not identifying) information but it could include some health information that could be helpful. If you are fortunate enough to know your birth parents names- can be found out from foster parents or sometimes adoption agency. It all depends on if your adoption was sealed. I hope this is helpful to give you a starting place. Also you could do a DNA test ( Ancestry or 23 and me, I would recommend Ancestry). Best of luck to you.

Kristina X it's not like they could do much. If your parent said no back then they meant no. There is no "I'm running away" or "Keep me out idc!!". Your parents would make sure you stayed home or all of you would move. Say anything to the authorities and they take the parent's side. There was no center for children that ran away or a shelter.

@@MacenW It isn't creepy, but the REALITY of this story is that he didn't really love her for 50 years, he simply didn't live life with her, it's something that was a bit in his "mind" wouldn't you say? Had he really wanted to find her, it seems to me that he could have. Just knocking on doors? And, may I add that he was too young to be having sex, no wonder football didn't interest him. As someone who used to be a Care Assistant I agree, they have so many wonderful stories to tell I used to love sitting with them listening to them talk. We had one lady who sadly had Dementia (they all had something that required them to need care but they were all amazing people) she used to talk about her childhood, she would repeat the same story every time about a tree she had in her garden & she would ask you to guess what kind of tree it was. I loved talking to her about it & trying to guess the answer even though I knew what it was, I remember one night I said the correct tree & she was so surprised that I got it right she started giggling like a young girl when I said it was just a lucky guess. I miss working with the elderly but sadly I am now classed as disabled due to back problems & other issues, but I will always appreciate having the privilege to work with such lovely people 💛

Forgive me if that question is too personal, it's just that I have been more and more curious about the power of prayer in other people's lives. Whether you do me or you don't, something brought the 3 of you back together and whatever it was it was something powerful; your love for one another? Never take one another for granted, that's for sure. You have a beautiful family and many more years to enjoy each other. I implore you to do so. They may not have been able to deal with the pressure. As we get older we are much more capable of dealing with life's adversities. I guess what I'm trying say is maybe this is the way life wanted for each if them. In the end it worked out quite well I think.

Jesus loves you so much and I need to tell you that He offers you His Righteousness as a gift He will wash you completely Clean from ALL your sins and wants you to Come to him it says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Meaning the punishment for our sins is Hell Because we are not obedient to God. But Jesus was completely obedient to God He went to the cross to die for us and now we do not trust in our obedience but His it says, “Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.” Gods wrath and Judgment went on Jesus Because He was carrying our sins so God treated Him like the worst sinner now God will Justly treat you like you have never sinned after you believe upon Him so when the blood of Jesus is over you God cannot treat you like a sinner! He never wants to but now He can Justly treat you like you never sinned Jesus was our sacrifice for our sins! Tell God you admit your a sinner and ask Him to wash you with His blood and receive His Gift of righteousness. Come out of darkness and into light! it’s your part to receive Jesus to believe upon Him. It says, “Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” Don’t think it’s not wrong to sin -because He loves us.

@Business Model Don't know about where you are, but round here how you age is usually very soxial class dependant. Working class people are old at 55, the middle class don't get to the same stage til nearly 80. Some exceptions of course, but it does seem a softer life can preserve you better.

There is a book that I read as a teen titled "somebody's baby" that could have been written about this story!! Here is a piece of the synopsis: "by the end of Jenny's senior year in high school, she was pregnant. When they made a plan to run away, Jenny waited at the spot where Will was to pick her up, but he never showed. What follows is the story of true love that spans three decades -- between man and woman, parent and child. Jenny is forced to give up her baby for adoption, and when that child, Claudia, becomes a parent herself, she begins a search for her biological parents at the risk of destroying the love of the adoptive parents who have raised her. Claudia finds more than she imagined, as she uncovers years of lies and betrayal, sacrifice and silence, and the extraordinary love of Will and Jenny, whose faith and passion survive it all." written by Elaine Kagan.

My husband and I met in high school in 2005 when I was 15 and he 16. We had truly fell head over heels for one another, it wasn’t just high school love, it was something that let us both know that we had met our true person. It was as if we have known each for centuries, I know that may sound a little out there but that’s how it felt. but life sometimes throws us curve balls and after 3 yrs of being together we broke up...I had gotten pregnant And then later suffered a miscarriage. Losing a child for those who have been through that is one of the most devastating things any woman can go through. It was as if your own body betrayed you and you feel this horrible guilt. I felt like a part of my soul was lost and I changed, I became withdrawn and so did he. We were only 18 and 19 when it happened and we had a whole mix of feelings. On the one hand we were too young to be parents but we had accepted we were going to be and when that was no longer a option, we lost that spark that held us together, we then decided to go our separate ways, it was just something we had to do, we had to heal and we had to do that apart. I knew I loved Chris and that he would always be someone I cared for but at the time we knew it was the right choice. We were too young to go through those sort of life circumstances. 7 years went by and I began to get curious about where he had gone, I tried Facebook, Instagram, you name it and I couldn’t find him. For years after we broke up I kept feeling that something was missing in my life. Up to that point I had went to college graduated, i had great friends, a job that I loved and a great family but I knew that what I was missing was having or at least knowing whatever happened to Chris. So I grew some lady balls and wrote a letter and sent it to the house he lived in when we were in high school but... I never got a response back...I was sad but I just told myself he is probably happy in his life and doesn’t feel the need to look back or that his family wasn’t living there any longer. So I just went on with my life but then a whole year later out of nowhere, with no warning he shows up at my parents front door, he too had been looking for me but to no avail. He told me that His mother had received the letter but never gave it to him, it wasn’t after a year that she felt guilty and confessed to him that a letter had shown up addressed to him from me. He was pissed as you can imagine but he put all those feelings aside and He came looking for me the very next day after his mother confessed about the letter. When he got to me he admitted that after 7 yrs he too hadn’t fell out of love with me. We married 8mths later in August of 2016 and after two blissful years of marriage we are expecting our first son. These things do happen, and I’m a testament to that. So for those who had once loved and lost, I can tell you that if it’s real TRUE love then no amount of time or distance can pull you both apart.

So happy they found their daughter. A few years back I saw a young woman who was in terrible distress; indescribable pain on her pale face; I learned she was an unwed mother and immediately after the babys birth, a social worker appeared and convinced her to sign adoption papers; in her weakened condition she complied. I can never forget this terrible incident; I pray for her that one day she may find her dear baby again.
