Thanks so much. These old episodes are so precious. They take me back to the some of the best times of my life as a child and teenager in the 70’s and 80s, feeling safe with my Mum and peacefully falling off to sleep on the settee, while my mum was watching Corrie in the background.❤

Jerry was a great character. And his rapport wirh Len and Ray was magic. Graham Haberfield was also superb in Granada's Dustbinmen, as the anti-social Manchester City fan, Winston.
Wilfred Carter as the pompous boat club secretary - here fresh from nearly being blown up in "Day Of The Daleks".
Emily didn't half come down hard on Ernie sometimes. His life was hell after he was caught with Ray and Alf in that strip club. Being in the dog house is one thing, but Emily took it to extremes.
Poor Ernie. She doesn't get any easier to live with after they are married either.
