Today I was helping my buddy Justin out with his recently acquired 1994 5MT AE102 Corolla Wagon. This car has been in his family since it was new, and its in great shape all things considered! Such a cool car, and its a fantastic car to learn with. Pretty fun to drive too! Unfortunately, his car recently failed the California smog sniffer test, which means he can't register the car. Before replacing a very expensive CARB approved catalytic converter, we decided to replace other emissions related parts, in hopes that we could get the car to pass. But of course, some issues came up in terms of having the right parts. Stay tuned for us to hopefully get this thing emissions compliant... eventually
