Most cops in urban settings only shoot well enough to occasionally qualify. They aren't like the ones here in the country who carry submachine guns and spend all their free time at the range. Theres a big difference between a shooter who can single hole at 25 with a pistol while freestanding and someone who only runs a few mags per year.

Before body cams and a zillion cameras everywhere, i have no doubt they would at least beat on him some if not just smoked him when he didn’t immediately comply. * I grew up in Houston where we had like three different police shootings where a throw down gun was used in a couple years. It reached the point where the joke in the city was, “ Do you know why HPD carries chihuahuas in their police cars? They are throw down dogs for the K9 team” These are the same cops that threw an illegal immigrant off a bridge over Buffalo Bayou after the jail wouldn’t take him since they’d beat him and the jail said take him to the hospital for care. So instead they threw him off the bridge and told him, “ swim wetback”. Trouble was these brilliant specimens forgot to take off their handcuffs and the poor bastard drowned. Yeah, Houston Cops in the late 70s and early 80s were really, really bad.

There was a 17yearold who was up playing games at 2am and heard 2 guys smash the back door into his house, he went down to protect his mum and sister, the burglars attacked him with a hammer and brick, luckily he went with his cricket bat! He beat them both with it but was hospitalised with severe injuries. Theives got 2years but realeased on licence after 8months, guy defending himself and his family got 14years for 2 counts of attempted murder. Basically they are checking to make sure the driver is licensed and no warrants and they are checking the car tags to make sure it’s insured, registered, and not wanted as far as active investigations go. However as with the human it might take a while for the info to hit they system

Before Donut mentioned it, I was in disbelief at how alarming the crossfire was. That could have been a terrible tragedy.

@@neglectfulsausage7689 Come on now. Based on your comment people can already tell you aren't the brightest but did you completely miss the phone calls to 911 where he ran into people before dealing with police and into someone's house and struck 2 people? Did you just ignore that or are you just that dense?

With all the frivolous lawsuits that get filed, I could get behind them filing one against the city for creating laws that allowed this guy to walk after 3 run-ins with LAPD.

@@neglectfulsausage7689let me guess you think black people can do naught wrong and white people are the devil even though if you pay attention to what's going on guess what black people can go all choose to live together in their own land but what do they do flock to the areas where white people have made the quality of life high with a good Infrastructure. There are countries ruled by Mexicans other Latin Americans and black people. Instead of flocking to the areas that white people have created and then blaming them for nothing why don't you go live in those other places
