There are people who go into random buildings like libraries, post offices, DMVs, etc etc etc and film the patrons while berating the employees. Most have extensive criminal records and look like they stepped off the set of Wrong Turn 12 minutes before. They reel in youtube revenue without the consent of those from whom they profit. Aside from a handful of incidents they never get dropped like they should. We all say any day now someone will do something, but essentially people have too much to lose while handling someone with nothing to lose.

There's a glitch you can do, so normally when you call nine one one you need to get an operator on the other side and give an address, but with multiple phones and stuttertalking you can have near complete immunity to crimes officers are witnessing. Once robbed a store clerk, and the officer kept holstering and drawing his gun before he got stuck in a T Pose animation.

I have a solution for road rage. Anytime anybody cuts me off or acts aggressively, I automatically assume they have a very bad case of diarrhea and want to get home before they stain their seats. It really works. Their bright red faces look right at home sitting on a toilet. It all makes sense. And then I feel sorry for them.

That's a good solution. Mine was this: once I realized that my own road rage was the cause of almost ALL of my road rage incidents, I calmed down behind the wheel, and slowed down on the road. I started driving defensively, safely and courteously. It's not that I'm any better than others, it's just that I don't want to be "that rager guy with the me first attitude" anymore. Suddenly, I don't have nearly as many incidents as before. Although it doesn't taste too good, swallowing my pride doesn't hurt me, and it actually makes driving much more pleasant and safe. If they keep it up, the jerks will eventually reap what they sow, but I don't need to be the one who makes them. I'll remember your comment next time this happens to me, though! 🤣

In the US, "nicked" would imply a shallow cut, for example, if you cut yourself shaving, that's a nick. I'm not sure WHAT he meant here. I assume something like "hit" rather than nicked, since I doubt he had a knife while doing a pat-down!

I had a guy who I pinched for is 2nd off OWI. During questioning by the DA about his inconsistencies of how many drinks he'd had that day, his response was finally, "When you've been suckin' beer all day, you kind of lose track, OK!!!" I looked over at his defense attorney who slumped forward and put his face in his hands.

Great advice. I learned the hard way a couple years ago after becoming self aware of my own bad (and aggressive) driving. I discovered how easy it was to pretty much eliminate road rage incidents from my life by just being a safer, more courteous and self controlled driver. Works wonders!

Cop or not, if someone walks up to you angrily in a road rage situation ESPECIALLY when they have their hand concealed where they could have a hidden weapon you have every right to point a gun at them. The best self defence is proactive, if you wait for someone to pull a weapon on you before you have your weapon ready then you're the one who's going to lose that fight and probably your life.

Unfortunately, an adversarial justice system as well as the ability to plead guilty means that haggling for charges is the system we got. He must have a really good lawyer.
