Looks like it has a later model 235 by the valve cover

I remember seeing a black 40 coupe like this one racing in gasser class in the late 1960s .Made a pretty cool gasser . had an small block injected in think it was a 327 ......car was pretty cool

Looks like one my uncle got out of a building in McComb year's ago,but I think his was a 38or 39 Chevy club coupe.

Yeh the rest of the car it pretty good. As far as the floor pan. I see a large STOP sign in the future 😂

That's not even a stove bolt 6 that's a newer engine so somebody put that engine in that car must of done it the same time they did the interior. Very Interesting

So, are we flipping? Keeping? Butchering? Low rider? Lead sled? Dragster? Are we gonna destroy it's soul and turn it into another monstrosity? It looks like it's all there. What are the possibilities of just cleaning it up real nice and making a good solid daily driver? Survivors are the coolest of all.
