Contessa 26 Refit ep.32 - Anchors and Stern Deck
Documenting the refit of a 1975 Contessa 26 - J.J. Taylor build. Not an instructional video; recording for my own reference.
In this episode I go through my anchor selection and make some minor anchoring-related modifications.

After watching all of your videos on all the great work you've done to your boat I'm surprised you don't have alot more subscribers.. you definitely tackle every job with functionality, fit and finish in mind
One of my favourite channels, embarked on a full refurb and partial rebuild of a 30ft 60 year old sailboat myself. Find the practical advise really helpful.

Thanks for the praise. Despite the smashed thumbs, lacerations, and the off-camera swearing, she is by far my favorite boat I’ve ever owned.
Fully enjoying this channel- TY so much. I’m not a live aboard, so smaller single/short handers are more focused content for me. I’m appreciating your hard work and can’t wait to see you sailing.

The ones I had on hand were 4 inches, but the existing hole was a bit larger so I had to make that trim ring as an adapter to fit the 4 inch plate.
