Instead of hammering and damaging the anchor bolts why not design the base plate like a kidney shape for easy installation?!

great video & construction NARF... do you not install strain wires between the steel section, be it on the roof or walls to keep the insulation from sagging over time?

This insulation is reinforced in the backing so we don't install wiring. If we do a bag and sag system we will use banding strips.

Where did you put this one up at? How long ago? Looks like this one didn’t take you but a few days to get done, you boys move faster than most. Good job as usual Fred. Miss you and them babies, come see us don’t be a stranger.

I use metal building insulation.

How much would a build like this cost, pad and all?

Do you have a footage of the trim at the top of the dividing wall. How you notch for the z purlin.

In the video but not a close up. I use sections of trim that fit between the zees. Then I lap each piece at each zee. This lets me cut the end of each trim piece. Rather than trying to wrap the trim around the bottom leg of the purlin.

Hey man. I know this is an older video but have you done any detail videos on the trim around a partition wall? I’m getting ready to start sheeting mine and I have two partitions that I want the trim to look good around the purlins and girts. @BuildingwithNARF

I started to text you last week and ask if you had any work, we have been laid off for and week and a half but finally went to work yesterday. I have to say I actually miss this. I like welding and programming the robot I operate but I still enjoy this work too. Looking good as usual Fred, the Lord has blessed you for sure. Miss you, come see us and bring them babies we miss them too.

Maybe I'm ignorant, but why did you insulate the walls of the open storage area?

About 70% of the jobs I do. We go back and change. I have done this so much that I anticipated that it would get closed in at a later date. I try and sell people what they need and not just make a sale. These are customers that trust me. That being said I am getting started on the addition now. Being insulated keeps me from having to do it now. And it doesn't become wasted. Also the customer has shelving, wiring, and lighting ran in this area that would involve different trades to add insulation now. It costs more labor and the materials cost more now. I actually have saved the customer money. Installing the insulation at the time of erection is minimal work compared to now. I hope this helps.

Great videos bud. I need one built at my house. Who's a reasonable supplier I can get a kit from that will deliver to N. Central Florida? There's a ton of companies out there that want to sell me one for sure. Hard to sort them out. What is a reasonable amount to expect to pay to have one erected? I own all equipment needed (40ft genie, lull, all terrain forklift) all except scissor. How much to come put one up at 32025?

Prices change monthly in this crazy year of 2021. I believe this was around $80k in 2019. Almost double the cost now.
