Common Mistakes on the TrueForm Runner

Спорт

This video uncovers many of the common mistakes and then the common corrections that people make on the Trueform Runner.
In the video, the instructor walks multiple OPEX Athletes through these pieces:
1. How to properly get on and off of the TrueForm Runner
2. How to avoid looking at their feet
3. How to maintain body position, head to toe, as they run on the runner - they walk on the TrueForm Runner in order for the instructor to see if they can hold position at a slow pace. They put their arms overhead, contract their bellies, and then bring their arms down in order to properly position for their walk. They also work to have their hips "reach" the front of the machine merely for the person to maintain an upright posture
4. How to increase pace on the TrueForm Runner
5. How to keep their feet "quiet" on the TrueForm Runner - people need to listen to how hard they are pounding their feet to help them understand how effectively they're running
6. How to avoid over-striding on the TrueForm Runner - people can put force straight down into the treadmill and have the belt move, so they do not need to reach their feet to the front of the machine to make the belt go
7. How to breathe effectively on the TrueForm - work people to breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth and be careful not to immediately run too fast because it messes people's breathing up which destroys their posture
8. How to improve breaks in posture - for ex, working a PVC Pipe or Kettlebell overhead. Also, video analysis is beneficial for people to see their technique
This is a great video to improve your ability on a TrueForm or non-motorized treadmill "Runner." Enjoy!

NOTE: This product works exactly as described. kzread.infoUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!

Love it as far as not feeling pain in my knees and chins when I jogged on ground. I still need to use it more... even having it this long in still learning to trust to open my stride. I've sprinted several times, but I feel like I'm short stepping at the front of the machine for speed acceleration, and never really extending my stride. I'm not a runner- runner, I'm a baseball player, so my Sprints are in increments of 20 seconds at most....I say all that to say this. Compared to the typical motor belt treadmill, I love it. Because I can move the thing out to my driveway and run on it, or just maneuver it around my garage depending on my WOD with no complications

UPDATE: Followed your methods today and it was perfect! Could control the speed, body upright, no problems at all. Literally managed to master the thing in 3 sessions lol. Once you get over the initial fear of feeling like you're gonna fly off its good. Also burns far more than the conventional treadmill and for someone like me who has serious shin splints, this works wonders. No pain at all. Thanks again

Do you recommend a particular shoe or type of shoe to run on the trueform? I’m asking because it’s certainly a softer surface than the road but I feel a lot of different muscles in my feet and shins working more since starting to run on the Trueform.

@@Dap0pe1 Nope just sticking up for the little guy. Would you not take health advice from your doctor if he was skinny? It's about knowledge not how you look, only a child would look at a massive bodybuilder and think he's an expert in exercise science.
