Bought one of these for my blind grandmother who just wants to be able to go on walks, safely. Motorized units were too risky for her situation. She loves the Assault Runner.

Nice! I would also check out the new model that just came out. I think they removed the handles for safety purposes.

I notice my assault trainer's rubber track is not centered, bought it brand new, the gap on the right side is bigger than gap on the left,is it normal or defect? Cheers, I am in new Zealand.

How have these treadmills held up in a commercial environment? There is some feedback on Rogue and Amazon about problems with the deck falling apart

Just got a cheaper air runner. I've only put 5 minutes on it but it seems like its difficult to get it started without pushing off using the rails. also it doesn't seem to run much after getting off it slow down really fast.

DO NOT BUY - Our Air Runner makes way more noise than this, shakes and rattles when used, and has over 100km on it already. Technician has been sent twice to try and fix machine without luck. I have emailed the man in this video over 20 times as well as other representatives from Assault Fitness and they are unwilling to help. Now that they can't fix it, Assault Fitness is denying there is anything wrong with treadmill.

These are all incredibly loud. It doesn’t sound loud in the video because it’s being used in a large area, the camera microphone is adjusting volumes as they spike, editing software is also managing volume. Hes almost yelling when he’s using it. When I’m at the gym working out next to someone using these, they are shockingly loud.

Isn’t it better to land on your heel to absorb shock for your knees?

Nike shoes added heel rise and messed up evolution and biomechanics. Your foot, arch etc is a beautiful shock absorber and propulsion system ... the heel is not. If you’re interested I recommend the book ‘born to run’. It got me into running and also explained an awful lot!
