I still have many calls that go poorly even after making 60k outbound cold calls A VP yelled at me yesterday for calling her after a member of her team had already told me no.. had to give it a shot Having a short memory is important bc rude prospects can be a cloud of discouragement that lingers in your mind Each conversation is a brand new opportunity to make a connection

Why are gold fish the happiest animal on the planet? Because they have a 10 second memory. Be a gold fish. Great stuff, Trent. Thanks for the quality content as always.

Thanks, Trent. Cold calling is definitely a challenging job especially that English is not my first language.
The “prospecting” analogy was “gold”.

Write a list of 10-20 common objections, then read it through slowly 2-5 times a day. You can then remember it instinctively on calls a month later (60-150 times read).
I learnt a lot just from this video! Kudos to you! Amazing work
So much sauce in one video 🔥🔥

Hi Trent, a lot of your content is centered around the SDR function and outbound prospecting, which is great! Any chance you can share how you manage other parts of the deal cycle. Think it would be great content that not many others share

Great to hear!
A large proportion of people find cold calls a bit intrusive, and often aren't looking for the services offered. That's why, as a professional cleaner, I much prefer to find my clients on apps where people are already looking for my services, like Turno, for example!
This is the most value someone has provided in a youtube video...the amount things I learned from this video is amazing. You're amazing!

Repeat back what they said and ask why or ask for an explanation. That's their pain point right there. Write it down. Ask them a "in perfect world" question if applicable and get them to talk more. Less is more!

I notice you don't start your script with the recipient's name or mention it throughout. Is there a reason for this? I might have missed it but I don't think I heard it being referenced. Curious to know your thoughts.
