Low key disgusting move by Tong. Twisting words unnecessarily. What has he done as an MP btw? Such a lousy example. During the Olympics he just ride on the coat tails of athlete's fame and success. Even during the AFF Cup he couldn't be bothered to support the team. Supporters are suffering without food, water or proper seating because of poor management. And here is, busy preying on others like a vulture.

Which MP told us tracetogether is only to trace COVID cases initially and later say would helped police investigation for serious offenses? COP should investigate as well… isn’t it also a lie ?

Talking about accountability when Singapore's Temasek loses $39 billion, or 31 percent of its holdings in 8 months. Our government don't have to be accountable and give its citizens an explanation like this case? How many low-income families can we help with that sum of money? How many initiatives can be implemented to improve the lives of Singapore citizens? With that amount, we can support almost 662454 families for a whole year, with an average household income of S$58,872 per year. What will other countries think when they look at what we are doing in parliament. Continue to focus on such trivial matters in parliament, to waste resources and manpower, when it can be put to better use.

Why would Mr Pritam Singh being questioned about Raeesah Khan? If someone lied, the question should be asked by herself. Not to be brought up to Pritam Singh. It is a self behavior and self act. She is not being forced by Pritam singh. You can't expect someone to be honest while the person herself is a liar. Why is there a need to question Mr.Pritam singh?! It sounded like an accusations on someone that isn't causing the friction. How about inventing a lie detector. Problem solve.

Why the different treatment in questioning? Why the difference towards Mr Singh? Mr Edwin Tong did not interrupt or cut Madam Khan off when she is answering his questions. Mdm Khan was the one who should be subject to heavy questioning and scrutiny for 9 hours from the COP. Should summon the 3 stooges back.(Khan,Nathan,Loh) Did Ms Loh, Mr Nathan Knew about the dissociation condtiion? Does the both of them still believe Mdm Khan now?

Sooooo it seems to me that Mr Tong believes that Mr Singh is a liar because he believes Mr Singh is lying about the meetings with the original liar. The irony is that the key topic which is why there is a COP in the first place is drifting further away. The Liar and key person who started all this has disappeared in the background. While Edwin Tong has shown clearly he is not against speculating, he seemed so confused as to why Raessah would lie about what the party leaders asked (or not asked) her to do. We are talking about a dishonest person, who lied in parliament, and later realised the seriousness of her mistake. Someone who, while not afraid to own up to her own party leaders, could very well be terrified of having to own up to parliament and the rest of Singapore. Someone who allegedly admitted she suffers from dissociation. Someone who, out of fear and desperation, could very well be interpreting what she hears however she wishes, such as 'I will not judge you'.

Amazingly spectacular show of words. Pritam really is leader of the house.

At that point I thought they will CID so I just pass my IC for random check.. They took out a machine and started to issue me a ticket for smoking indoor? When I wasn’t smoking at all ! I ask them for prove.. the NEA person told me ( their eyes is prove already not happy write in to NEA ) so I went down to NEA HQ and file a complaint.. they said to be they will still stand for their rights and ask me to proceed to the ( COURT ) so I went to the court telling my side of story… You know what ? The court ask me for a prove that I wasn’t smoking!!!! How the hell I able to get myself recorded 24hrs in all my life???? Isn’t this a Joke ??? I said I have nothing to prove myself.. and I believe the 2 NEA PERSON HAVE NO PROVE EITHER ( I’m confident to say that because I wasn’t even smoking at all ! ) Long story short ( they still fine in the end ) from $200 become $500 if I never forgotten wrongly The price increase because I bring this matter to court. FROM THERE ON I UNDERSTAND THAT ( LAW IS NEVER FAIR AND ISNT ALWAYS PROVE ANYONE IS TRULY Guilty or non ) That’s why I am very very frustrated when I see this!!!! Because I use to feel it back then ! Even the house visit has 2 versions. 1st only one to one, 2nd is 2 to other family members, why not call the family and see who is telling the truth. We must be compassionate she has a dissociation condition.

Mr Edwin you might see Mr Pritam sharing nitty-gritty details of his visit to RS as its not what you care but should be smart enough to notice he mentioned all that because RS had mentioned Mrs Pritam visited her house when no-one else from the family was there. So before being blunt try to be smart to understand the intentions why someone's mentions the small details and ask if you are unclear.

If as he said he anticipated this matter to be brought up, shouldn't the context of not judging her be for her to own up?

Not extremely accurate because I dont follow politics that much Raeesah Khan (A member of parliament the opposition) made an allegation of sexual assault a few months ago in parliament, after months of looking through evidence they found no record of it and its come to light that she lied in parliament. Since then Workers Party (Opposition in Singapore) has advised her to step down from her position and now all the workers party members, leader of WP, Pritam Singh (the man in the video) & Raeesah are being questioned in this court like setting

How to keep Singapore going strong? By having a strong culture that condemns corruption and dishonesty. A strong culture that demands the highest standard of integrity. This is not about political parties. This is about Singapore and politic in Singapore. In what direction do you want politic to go? You cannot be double standard, one standard for the government and another another standard for the Opposition. If you keep lowering the standards for the Opposition, and one day, when the Opposition takes over government, that's the LOW standard you will have and it will be TOO LATE.

What evidence does the WP has to prosecute her when she confessed to them. The only evidence that Raseah khan is lying is her own words. If WP try to turn her to the police she can say: no I did not say I lied, then what? Remember this one is a liar. She can confessed that she lied, but she can also lied about not confessing that she lied. It is only rationale to tell her, if u really lied, go and confess to the police. Now she is trying to use her lies to take the party down.

Once she confess that she lie in parliament got record leh. so Disciplinary Panel look at her record that is prove that she lied. Then just need to mete out punishment.

Singh handling Ms. Khan’s confession may have a motive, he is manipulative and Ms. Khan, sadly is his pawn for his political game with the PAP. Can tell from his testimony he confused Ms. Khan a rookie MP that was the reason she continued lying, his aim is repeated lies become the truth a problem for PAP. Singh irritate ET with long unnecessary and repeated answer in every of his response he was performing to the WP supporters because he knew the consequences of his deeds. Transparency is still needed regardless of this incident. While the government should scrutinize this incident I don't see why transparency (public's right to scrutinize the government) is being compared. And this process should have been written in law and done by the courts to be truly impartial.

totally disappointed with the WP ways of handling the case. A lied told in the parliament, when you are aware of it, it is the leadership duty to guide and to correct it with the person. not just let the lie go on and on and on. Then now when ask the motives behind it, excuses here and there. I like to have the opposition party to be around but with this kind of ppl in the parliament, I rather not have them.
