@@RaseYourProbs I'm not saying that he definitely lie, but I think we can agree that there's a non-zero possibility that he lied right? And if I'm the political opponent of Pritam, of cos I'm going to drill in on that possibility regardless of how small it is. In a competitive environment, it's only rational that parties to make use of every single possible weakness that the opponent show. Hence, I do not feel its correct to criticise PAP as their actions was rational. And if it was the other way around, WP would prolly do the same

I used to work in a local SME where the CEO prided herself in being able to make her employees work during the weekends. She would call or message on weekends and expect her employees to respond. This IS the Singapore work culture. lol.

Tong gaves me strong good impression when he got the TAYLOR deal...but now his face turned to no good impression again to me ....think now is his true character. Why pushed and pushed Pritham to hell? Will it do any good to him ? The whole world can see is just like INTERROGATION ...how can ?

Really good discussion on the debate about Singapore Work Culture. As a former university educator, my advice for fresh graduates and young professionals is to have that mindset shift as you are being paid to provide a service to the employer, this is very different from you paying to get a service from education institutions. And internships experiences are not exactly the same as a full-time job, for one you are paid at least 2-3 times more, and hence the expectations are of course higher. On the other hand, we also can be more understanding and emphathetic towards fresh graduates and young professionals, bearing in mind that it takes time to transition from more than a decade of being a student to suddenly being thrown into the workforce. Some will adapt faster than others. As you guys have also pointed out we have all been there before.

Based of evidential law, contemporaneous evidence is good evidence. fighting this case will cost millions, why Pritam just doesn't take the punishment and pay $7000+$7000 = 14k. Our president did something similar (paid a fine even when he claims he wasn't guilty).
