I wanted a "portable, no-hanging-wires" package of the X16, so I got a table-saw and some carbon fiber and made one! Still a work in progress, but it is already very portable. I'll be presenting this, and a few other things, at VCF SW later this year!

Why carbon fiber? To do my part in saving the planet, carbon can be extracted from CO2 emissions and re-purposed back down into a dense 3K twill woven fiber pad! At 5mm thickness, it is very rigid and easy to work with (very little sanding was necessary and none of it ever cracked).
