Dave Grohl is such a cool humble human being. My friend Pasquale and I used to follow him around every time he came to new york city. Gave him his demo tape and Dave actually listened. At the virgin mega store show, Dave saw us in the crowd and shouted out my friend's band's name. It's on youtube. He says "the Aberdeen lizards are in the house". Yeah Nirvana, Foo Fighters, worth 230 million dollars and zero ego. The man treats everyone with dignity and respect. They'll never be another Dave.

I met Dave Grohl one time at 9:30 club. It was probably 1996. Anyway, he was so awesome. I was piss wasted but offered to buy him a shot and he said sure. Anyway, he knew I was all fan-boyed out. He proceeded to tell me a story about the first time he met Robert Plant. He was in a bathroom at some event and Robert Plant came out of the stall after going a wicked number 2. He was saying this to make me feel at ease that even though they're your heroes. They're just people in the right place, right time, just enough of luck and talent.

Such a genuine, humble dude who just happens to be a great musician. He respects the fact that his (and others)talents made him famous, but he's just like that friend we all WANT to be or that all of us have had in our lives at one time. His nice, unpretentious personality is so refreshing. No matter your musical taste, politics, color, etc... everyone who has met him or has just watched his interviews has nothing but nice things to say about him.

Please please let your guest talk, if they’re telling a story let them finish then come up with your own. Of course it’s your podcast and you want to express your thoughts and tell your funny experiences that are related to the ones your guest is/are telling, but if you don’t let them finish telling theirs you won’t get anywhere, or I mean, maybe yes, but if you keep doing it that way it will be frustrating for us (your audience) and probably to your guest too. I guess we (the listeners/viewers) will let it slide hehe, since it’s only the second podcast, hopefully those interviewer skills will improve. But keep up getting this kind of super guests and the good vibe and we’ll be here every time!! 😃 The best of luck!
