I really love how the Dax Shepard podcast and this one have been really introspective. You always hear about anxieties and mental health issues from certain groups of people, and hardly ever hear about them from succesful beautiful people (just being real). Hearing some of the confessions in these 2 podcasts has made me feel so much more empathetic to people who I usually have not understood why they are complaining in the first place, considering how awesome their lives seem from an outward perspective, or sometimes feel they are just trying to create bad things to be like everyone else. I previously thought this was negative and greedy in a way, but now I see it differently. I think it's like you still feel different because everyone expects you to feel fine because you are beautiful or confident or succesful. That in itself is ostrasization, and to make yourself a victim or to create moments of self loathing is to be more normal. Having people constantly believe or even make your life too perfect would also feel fake so better to create problems than to not experience any at all to be more grounded. I would hate to always be treated a certain way also, so I think I finally get it. Much love to you and love these therapy session podcasts. Super insightful. I wish I could sit and talk with you about all this as I rereading my comment I don't want it to be offensive, but I'm gonna leave it up anyway in hope it bridges more understanding as opposed to less

It killed me that we never actually got to see Steve-O's fiance in focus lol. That said, she looked pretty from what I could tell. It's really cool how much he's turned his life around. As much fun as he's had, it's cool to see him mature in a way that doesn't erase who he was or is. He'll always be Steve-O and he should be proud of that. I used to watch the jackass movies with my brother here and there, it was one of the few things we bonded over. So seeing someone from that time is really cool.
