My daughter, Granddaughter and I were JUST talking about ideas like this! My 9yo Granddaughter is learning to crochet from me and she’s practicing just doing the chain. We don’t get to see each other as often and im in the process of getting set-up to start recording my crochet creations…we talked about doing them to place across a doorway to hang longways like those bead strings coming down the door opening from in the 70s…walking thru the chains as u go thru the doorway… and pop, here’s a video! 😊❤❤❤❤

@@joyousjoy4ever In Finland in the 70s it was a fashion to make those or room dividers out of inside corks of soda bottles. Those were quite thin, you collected lots of them and then glued two together with some sort of a string in between!

@@TuulaMaaria oh, could do that with soda pop tabs and beads! Never seen a cork one before…that’s awesome! Probably not as noisy walking thru it too! The main thing I didn’t like about them is they would get hooked on your clothes sometimes…I have a lot of pop tabs saved for one day…not sure what I’m going to do with them yet…🙋‍♀️😊❤️

Those would probably be different. Ours were not tabs but like in this photo blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjA-5i2ETP9r6pxaIGPjuLWuOBW_fa_scbjjg8JuHLIY3rc4iDbdbaVZgC0U3J3jgN2GO1jFcxcqqndW0t7nRnVyMICzFvHIH_I1G8NADMdQIDvDwbYEo6gnFcROyVFfHo5r8UL1b0va8g/s1600/palma222.jpg And under the top there was a thin cork part, the size of a 2-euro coin 😊

I really enjoy watching your videos. It’s a pity KZread puts ads right in the middle of a word when you’re speaking. Can’t they wait till at least you have finished the sentence.? Or even the word ? I realise non of this is your fault and is out of your control but I thought if enough people have the same problem and say so KZread might at least take note. Thanks for all you do. I made your wind spinner hoping it would frighten away the Peewees from pooping on my windows and sill. I’d tried so many things and nothing deterred them. Until now.. so far it’s worked and because it so colourful it looks nice. I did have old CDs strung across but when the wind blew they would bang against the glass making an annoying sound. Your pattern is perfect so thanks for helping me spend less time scrubbing my windows and window sills every day to get rid of mounds of peewee poo. Those birds are certainly aptly named. 🌈🦘

Thank you, the ad placement is a subject I haven't seen people mention before! We can actually influence that but it is hard to know how exactly we manage to drag the ad signs so they would be between sentences. I now made slight changes to them but still don't know if they break a word. Because it is hard to get the exact spot, I don't normally do anything to them, just leave them where KZread places them. Except in longer videos I may remove one or two if there seems to be too many. So glad the wind spinners work in that way too! 😄
