    Hello Tuula! Thank you for the video. I’ve been using the stacked single crochet for a little over a year and really like the way it looks. Like you, I like the ease of crocheting into it as opposed to a chain. Your tip on matching to a half double row is new to me and I’ll be using that the next time I am using half doubles in a project. It never fails that you have a tip I can use!

    Thank you! I was struggling on a shawl I’m working on. Pattern said to chain 2 and turn and I didn’t like the way it looked when I added a DC into the same stitch. This is the perfect fix!

    This way works in any yarn, from fingering to bulky, just need to check that your hook goes with the yarn you have. The yarn I'm using for the demonstration is worsted weight wool hook is 4 mm.
