Coleman released a video saying that he was voting for Biden because believed that a Biden win would mark the end of left-wing hysteria and mark a return to national political centrism. There were many intellectually bankrupt reasons for voting for Biden but this was the most stupid rationale that I heard from anybody during the 2020 election. The fact that wokeness took over universities first isn't that strange actually. It mirrors patterns in history, as radical ideas usually take hold among intellectuals long before they leak out into the mainstream. Universities and the people that inhabit them are certainly no bulwark against horrific ideas, quite the contrary.

What Blair called “positive prejudice”, has been a thing in the uk for over 20 years. I remember this being talked about on question time on the bbc during the naughtiest and not one of the panel questioned it’s validity. For me, if you are bias towards 1 group of people then others are being prejudice against. I think this has been bore out. If you look at statistics the group which are struggling the greatest (financially, educationally, job prospects), it’s white working class males. Those in power ignore these statistics. It doesn’t fit their diverse mandate. The same thing is happening with these grooming rape gangs which are plaguing the whole of the uk. It is young white girls who are being targeted. Some as young as 9 & 10. But the government ignores the crime. In fact men are being demonised if they dare to speak out. Those in the Labour Party say ‘for the sake of diversity these women should be silent. Women??? We are talking about children. And since when did diversity become more important than the protection of females against rape???

You need to look at the horrors of leftism (Lenin, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc) as an uninterrupted series of events with the rape gangs just being one of the more recent horrors. In all cases there are *no* limits to the amount of innocents that leftists are prepared to sacrifice (through murder, rape, anything) in the name of their god. Leftists like to think of themselves as secular types but they're sacrificing these innocents to a god (a false god, at that): Collectivism.

Through school, care packages existed. For everyone else. On those days they would put all the white and poor kids in a room and have the rest of the school receive the packages. The charity of it was amazing. My friends would share. But I could only be happy for others. My family was from West Virginia. My father got a factory job in Wisconsin at a onion rings plant. I think you nailed it: humility. Thomas Sowell generalizes that very concept when considering why Liberals and Conservatives seem to take contrary positions on a wide variety of seemingly unrelated issues (Liberals think they can bring the Utopia, while Conservatives realize we are lucky to have things as good as they are now). His phrase "The Vision of the Anointed" describes it very well: Harris considers himself one of the Anointed, while Hughes realizes there is no such thing as the Anointed (learn from the past, don't repeat it).
