An real honest and open conversation would be about discussing what a social construct is and how the westernized social construct is designed. Getting to better understand what westernized society actual is and how it was set up will help us better understand how the problems that exist within it are purposely created by it. Race, nationality, gender, religion, politics are all creation of the social construct and they wouldn't exist if the society we live in didn't create them. The aforementioned suggest strongly that the society is predetermined and rigged to work a certain way based on ideas that do NOT originate from the masses who only agree and or consent to such ideas and or concepts against their free will under the guise that they are meant to be of service to others within the society, physically, mentally, spiritually or non spiritually if you are labeled an atheist. Ultimately western society is one based on psychological and physical warfare as well as social mind control. Metaphorically speaking we the masses are homeless people living in someone else's house under their rules statues, codes and laws which they change for their own conveniences to our detriment because they really don't want us living with them but they figure they can use us to clean up after their mess and take on their responsibility while they reap the benefits of charging us rent to live in their home. But here is the thing we don't have to live in someone else's home under their authoritative thumb doing the work for them for little or no return while being disrespected in the process. All we have to do is join forces, get our resources together, expose the flaws in the house to the owners themselves and then give them an ultimatum that they either change their house rules, statues, codes and laws or we simply move out and make our own home that doesn't include em. So are really serious about having an honest discussion about your social construct? or do you want to continue to have subjectively divisive conversations about made up man made construct issues that do not exist in objective real life?

I was a far leftist, and I felt uncomfortable with some of the concepts. "Sex work is work" and "tw are women" seemed deeply anti-feminist and wrong, but i pushed it down, because no one was saying anything about it and I assumed I must be missing something. These people were so aggressive and "had all the receipts", so I was just convinced i was dumb. I couldn't hear anything from the right because had accepted that they are evil and hate women. I needed to see push back from the left. And that happened one day in a comment section on b!tch media, an article about the film Hustler. One woman said something like why is it empowering to sell your body and be a criminal (said it better than that). She was viciously attacked, but I was like, Hold Up! So I clicked thru to her profile and i found the most hated and badazz group of women: terfs. That was it for me, I was free. And I was pissed. Pissed at the left for slowly gaslighting me into a literal buffoon, and pissed at myself for not paying attention and having such ridiculous self esteem. I'm not a terf (maybe a baby terf), I don't have any tribe. I'm independent, and I've peaked my daughter, who was/is more pissdd than I was. She's peaked 3 friends (theyre also pissed lol). And I try to pay it forward and leave comments when I can, so hopefully, someone else sees pushback from the left. Thanks for listening to my podcast

Very interesting interview. I’m a white man raised with a half black brother and now have a half black daughter. My daughter and I have always had the best relationship you could ever imagine. Then she started college and all of a sudden I had white privilege and was on the side of the oppressors. She never made the comment I was the enemy but she sure seemed to dance around and come just short of that because she loves me and knows I have sacrificed so much for her to have a better life then all of her friends and family. We have tried to talk about it and we just can’t. It’s unfortunate but we will never get back the relationship we had before she went to college. If I had known I wouldn’t have paid for her to go. I wouldn’t be able to stop her if she wanted to go but I would not have paid someone to teach my daughter to hate me and to develop a victim mentality. They (and I don’t know who they actually are) want us to be weak and controlled but if they succeed won’t that mean we will someday be taken over and they will lose all power to the conquering new country?

First, I am so sorry to hear about your story. That has to be just heartbreaking, and I hope that as she matures she "grows out" of this toxic mindset. You also raised a point that I have often made, which is the self-destructive idiocy of their mindset: If the world is just groups struggling for dominance and power as they claim, then they'd better hope that whites or conservatives don't end up buying into that twisted belief. For if that were true, then they would necessarily do it to us if they gained power, right? If THAT were true then it would be rational for the majority (whites, gun owners) to use its power to ensure they stay crushed and under our thumb, right? I of course do NOT subscribe to this mindset, but given that blacks are only 13% of the population they should realize that they are playing with fire. It could end in a horror show.

@@WhizzingFish12 you are the first person that has made that same point I have been saying forever. Many slaves fought for their freedom and won, why didn’t that happen here in the US? I’ll tell you why, we out number them by far. They are only free because white people in the north fought and died for their freedom. It’s open season to be as racist as you want to be against white people especially white mean and sooner or later white men just like everyone else is going to get tired of it and start fighting back. I have black people in my life that I care about and I fear that they are going to get the race war they want and it’s going to end badly for them. Including my daughter. The worst part in all of this is that white people today have never owned slaves but yet we have to pay for the sins of other men? This country was founded on bringing everyone together to fight for a common goal, and now all our government wants to do is tear us apart. Bring on the Russians or the Chinese, their leadership can’t be worse then this.

Btw I also have issue with some conservatives instrumentalizing religion to advance their other political goals,. Basically, religion and faith is important to me, and I care how it's addressed. So anyhow, what do you think as to _why_ does the left detest religion so much?)

You see this reflected in the obsession with s3xual gratification, and the toxic narcissism that is encouraged. Also, their political beliefs have become their religion.

A masculine presenting deity, who expressly dislikes homosexuality, the object of worship of a religion that has a few choice words for women's conduct? Oh dear. It's just that the western world hasn't seen it before, when it was behind the iron curtain. Now that it came onto their shores, it became a problem. @@joane24 I am not religious, but the reason why westerners are so obsessed with "freedom" and "liberty" and hating on religion is because following good moral values is HARD. It's easy to just follow whatever desires you want (i.e freedom); it's easy for example to fight for abortion because then there is no responsibility on their part to control their sexual urges if they don't want children... You see that some of the people who hate religion the most always do it because they have some vice that is morally wrong that they don't want to get rid of and they're deathly afraid of going to hell, so they fight back against people with good moral values instead of trying to fix themselves.

Self-protection is the strongest argument in favour of gun ownership, but not protection against a tyrannical Government - it's against other people that are looking to use physical force against you. The number one job of Government, as the monopoly in retaliatory force, is to protect your rights (which includes protection from force). BUT, in some circumstances they are either too ineffectual or too far away to do that job. Therefore, sometimes, when the circumstances require it, citizens should arm themselves for self-protection.

The laws passed in Britain or Australia to ban guns would be instantly struck down by the Supreme Court here in the US as unconstitutional based on the second amendment. On a personal note I own a gun for the same reason I own a fire extinguisher: because you can't assume the authorities will arrive in time to save you. And I believe every individual Brit, no matter how anti-gun they may be, will change their mind instantly when you hear your downstairs window shatter late at night and realize someone is in your house.

It's a fallacy Australians don't have guns. It's an arduous process with lots of paper work. You need a criminal history check, and if you are being treated for mental illness, a letter from your treating professional that you are not a threat to your self or others. As far as I can tell many US states have similar rules. The buyback is also misunderstood. The government offered to buy guns at an inflated price. People found rusty old shotguns in the back of sheds, sold them to the government, and in many cases used the money to buy another gun.

After jumping through all those hoops Australians can only buy pre WW1 "musket" style "wood" guns, or guns with limited post WW2 design features, ergonomics, materials, etc. A bolt action 5 round magazine rifle is banned there because it has a pistol grip and some other mid to late 20th century features! And part of the arduous process to get a license is to demonstrate a "genuine reason" to own a gun: Which does NOT include self-defence!!! Note when gun laws were introduced in Britain a century ago self-defence was the one "good reason" the authorities HAD to accept for issuing a license. This was slowly reversed, first unofficially by the police, then by law. Part of the slippery slope the country went down from unrestricted ownership a century ago, to a near total ban now. But it hasn't stopped killings, mass killings, or even shootings. On the contrary, gun murder was almost unheard of a century ago, and murder a fraction of what it is now. Note: as I understand it in the US any body found in suspicious circumstances is classified as a homicide. In the UK even the most obvious murder isn't counted as one until when, and if, someone is convicted of the murder. And the authorities go to great lengths to avoid prosecuting anyone for murder!!!

Go figure. Love and respect Amal's work. It is long past time to stop putting "ourselves" in boxes of "left vs right" and "liberal vs conservative" - and maybe a good time to simply declare our "values" and leave it to the most intolerant others to demonize us if they wish.
