Hi Souvik. I understand your concern. But unfortunately we can't predict the work pressure before the allocation of the project. Some projects have less pressure and work while some others have more. Hi Vivek sir, I have got internship offer From cognizant genc, and I am from vtu ,now from Feb 14 we are having our 7th sem ,, sem end exams,upto 9th March, and Cognizant genc updated that, my DOJ as 31 Jan 2022, but till now I am not getting any session link from company,, and I completed all the BGV process, pre joining formalities,4 days ago, if they give DOJ near to our exam dates , and will they give CSD instead of internship if their buisness requirements are satisfied..

Hi SMH. Allocation of CSD and internship depends on both what option you have selected during form filling and even on Company's business requirements. Since, your exams are clashing, you kindly request the concerned authorities for CSD as you might not be able to attend the internship. They might consider your request. But, since, you have mentioned to the concerned person that you will not be available during that specific period required by the company, they may postpone your Internship date as per your interest or else assign you CSD as well. Hi Gaurav. As per your information, since you have got above 60 percent after the improvement exams, you do not need to worry regarding this. They will consider the final score during the BGV. Hi there. In GenC role, not all get development related roles. Some other roles include tester and support roles as well. While in GenC developer role, it's clear as per title that it's development role. But understand the fact that, this doesn't completely depend on role, the field allocation also depends on Company's business requirements. All the best 👍. As their are only Java/.NET FSE in cognizant ....If I am strong at Python what should I do ??? Do I mandatorily need to learn Java and get into FSE ??? There are nothing for Python devolopers as GENC Freshers ?

Hi Aritra. These are the domains available as per the information from other students, so unfortunately, you need to select one from these. So even if you know python, you should prepare in whatever domain they allocate you and unfortunately, we do not have much options to choose from. Hi Siva. It takes atleast two weeks to get a response from the HR authorities as per my experience from previous students. Also, it takes longer as well depending on the concerned authorities. Hi Praveen. I understand your concern. The domain is completely allocated by the concerned authorities of the company. If you have valid certifications, then you can present them to the concerned authorities/manager at the company so that they might consider your interest. But you should understand that certifications should be considered valid by the company, and they might not consider external certificates. Anyways, do inform your manager and they will let you know the further steps regarding domain shift. This is because they allocate people based on Company's business requirements. Still, they provide you the opportunity to upskill yourself and then inform this to your manager.
