    How are you? This is Siva, an S/W employee. I am your youtube subscriber and I follow all your videos. I joined my niece in VIT CSE, she completed 2nd year and moved to 3rd year. VIT CDC asked her to select online internships. I went through all internship options but all seem difficult for 3rd year Engineering students. What happens if she fails in certification exam? Can you suggest any easy internship for her?

    Is there is online classes in vit ap in 3rd or 4th year bcoz of lower number of hostels and high student intake By the way I am 2023 fresher

  • @VivekGangi

    @VivekGangi

    10 ай бұрын

    Hi there! I don't think there is a facility like this just because of high student intake. Usually online classes facility is given when the student is away for internship that happens in the final year. But the decision is not constant and would depend on the university officials. Hi there! Sorry for the late reply! One thing for sure, the VLSI field is very tedious and stressful and will require a lot of hard work and interest. Of course the growth is more and better compared to the typical software roles and you can surely land in good jobs once you learn the work and how to perform. Currently due to recession the market is not well, but expected to get back within a year Max. All the best! Do subscribe to our channel to support us 😁👍

    but why would people switch from IT to VLSI 🤔🤔

  • @VivekGangi

    That's an interesting question! Mostly because of lack of interest, for other personal interest reasons or for better pay, many people try switching to VLSI field, especially from IT sector!

  • @AsifAkhtar20

    @AsifAkhtar20

    @@VivekGangi I understand the interest factor, but hard to believe it since in order to have interest one needs to actually dwelve into VLSI and HDLs, which one would only do to get into VLSI to begin with. Coming to pay, in the long run, both IT and VLSI get the same pay, maybe IT a bit more. But there are numerous IT comapnies which pay 18lpa+ in hand to freshers whereas apart from TI & Google, no one pays even 18 lpa for freshers. And the number of product based companies in VLSI is less than 20 in India as opposed to 100+ in IT.

    Hey Asif! That's a couple of interesting points you have put up, let me add some more: Both IT and VLSI pay the same in the long run? Please check out the growth of employees in this field, as this statement is wrong. The boom in the field of VLSI in the last ten years in India is relatively competitive to IT. Of course there are a lot of IT companies in India but trust me the market for VLSI is not going to be the same in the next ten years. Please check the moving government policies towards the support of the chip design industry, startup culture in the field of VLSI, and growing requirements of chips in all our day to day operations. The same things were responsible for the establishment of a large number of IT companies in India two decades ago. Do a little hardwork and you can earn far more than a typical software engineer with the same experience in the long run. You can check this out with other seniors in this field, I'm not the right person to justify this! Anyways a healthy discussion is always good!😁

    IT is the vast field to be confused. You say IT it might been ‘software engineering’. Not many are in the good part of the job, that’s the sole reason

  • @santos8146

    @@VivekGangiYou’re wrong buddy. If you’re really good at something, both the fields pay more. Many times, software wins it because of its larger market cap. You may argue about job security but hey, they pay you more so you’ll feel like a long vacation. Not every engineers irrespective of their domain are recession proof if the market is bad and skills are not as per expectations The problem with VLSI engineers explaining the job market is they are pigeonholed into that very particular domain and many so called ‘IT engineers’ I bet they never explored beyond their job title or joined just for the sake of job. Absolutely nothing wrong in that but it’s worth to be mentioned the reason ‘why?’
