Dang, Hoots' fake ad read was a dead ringer for a 1950s era ad of a housewife selling vacuums or something.
Dinklage is spelled like Dinklage because it is literally the same name: Peter Dinklage is actually a descendant of minor German nobility (there is a town in the north of Germany named Dinklage, it's that family's ancestral seat) and Coco's Nazi lover was with almost 100% certainty a very distant relative of his.
I am familiar with a little bit of Coco's public persona; but am going into this one as more or less a blank slate. Let's gooooooooooo!

We're 3 minutes in and she's a Nazi collaborator. Starting strong! Yeah, I didn't know that part (as you can probably understand, this is a part of their history Chanel downplays).
Thank you for helping me get up for another Monday morning. Very much looking forward to Respect the Dead - Caelan Conrad, pt. 27.
😮😆 The anxiety ad copy and Hoots' performance! 😍🤩
this is someone i've literally never heard of before, so i'm pretty excited to come in for a fully educational experience!

They are all in the episode description in the order we look at them
This is the first episode of RTD were i've actually heard about the famous person, but don't already know their terrible history. ✏📝 Looking forward to wednesday. ♥
IT’S MY DREAM COME TRUE!! I just love you three so much.
Oh boy, a two-parter 👀 I'm also tempted to join that fake ad patreon tier just for something silly.
I love this podcast!
There's so much to love (and SO much to hate!), but I'm still just kind of living for Hoots' ad read. 😰
We learned abt Coco Chanel in high school French class but I will have had absolutely no idea that she did anything bad until i watch this episode
Nicole Rudolph has a good video on coco channel
Oh no, this was much worse than I could ever imagine I did not know one thing about Coco Chanel. Y'all's witty humor and banter kept the subject light. Amazing choice Little Hoot can't wait for part two!
Oh, I already have a lifetime subscription to anxiety.
You got an ad! Er I guess you got monetization… Yay!
Wasn't the little black dress actually a little brown dress and... not by coco chanel?
59:00 ohoo hoo hoo hoo! She returned his unused checkbook?! 😆💅
Most of the fashion stuff is pretty inaccurate, unfortunately. She didn't invent the lbd for instance
57:20 Caelan, anyone who doesn't want to be seen with you needs to get TF out of my life. I'd even find and smuggle in vegan popcorn (or similar) for you, if you'd like.
36:25 coco and igor was fiction 😬
51:50 : cringe!
Compiègne is uncomfortable to pronounce even for us
