Coastal Foraging - Clams, Mussels, Cockles and Edible Seaweed Beach Cook Up

Coastal foraging and beach combing after unsettled weather is always very productive. Here we show you how to collect several types of clams, cockles, mussels and edible seaweeds. Then we find a sheltered spot to cook it up and enjoy a nice rustic meal. I hope you enjoy it.

I've watched a few of your videos and they're really interesting content. The first thing I appreciate is your knowledge and attitude. It's almost like being out on the beach with you, you are a patient and informative teacher. The second is your parenting; you seem like a great father. very patient, polite, and caring with your boy. In another video where you found that lobster under the rock really exemplified it. It wasn't all "be careful, don't do this, don't do that, sit down, shut up, eat this", you don't force him to eat it, and you aren't forcing the skills on him, but just being around you while you do it will have the best impression on him. Once he's older and gets a taste for the seafood, it will be useful to have another pair of keen eyes and hands! best wishes to you and your family.

@@TheFishLocker Sure he will! Growing up, my parents used to get a kick outta picking on me. They would play tricks on me and liked to scare me (mainly so I'd run to them for safety). In school I was a bit embarrassed of my mom (she had a learning disibility). Now, when I remember her I see her as my super hero. You remind me of my dad (he's still around though I don't see him much). We used to go for long hikes through the woods. He taught me so many things, like how to identify trees just by looking at their leaves or birds by their calls. He taught me the constellations in the night sky and so much more. At the time it felt like useless Information, but now I find myself doing the exact same things with my girls and telling them about the wonderful times we had. I like to tell my girls how cool my parents were and how I'm proud of how they raised me. I'm sure your son will think of his mom and dad as the coolest people he knew. Maybe not right away lol, but when he becomes an adult and ends up recalling all of this information to teach his own children. Keep up the good work!❤
